Swallowing his pills, Chris turns around and takes his gun back from Cat.
"Now, Kane, do you know where I might be able to modify my ship?"
Said Chris, getting close and talking low. Hinting that he wanted this information 'off the books'.

Kane spoke in a low and quiet voice.
"Define the kind of modifications you need..." he said..
And how much you're willing to shell out, he added mentally.

"As in, those CODEs on my ship are slow...to slow if I'm going to do what needs to be done. Or, should I just by a new ship....."
Chris grabed onto Kane's sholder and got as close as he could, trying to block out the others near him.

"I don't deal in weapons," Kane mumbled. "I use them, not sell them."
He flashed a little smile and went back to face Catalina and Lavinia.

"I'll just have a water, thanks. I've had enough beer tonight," Kane said, nodding.
He looked around the bar a bit and then looked back over at Lavinia and sighed.

Lavinia seemed unaware of the bar around her, she sipped at her glass. She was being ignored, and she didn't really mind, it was easier when people left her alone. She could think better without certain distractions.

Chris nodded towards Lavania as he said to Kane.
"Looks to me like you've found a rather fine pearl there."
Chris ordered a beer and started to mess with his gun agian, thinking that one day, everything will be as it should.

Kane chuckled lightly and picked up his glass of water. He walked over to Lavinia and gently kissed her on the cheek, then sat down and took a sip of the ice-cold liquid. The drink cleansed his mind and dulled the alcohol slightly.
"Yo, Chris," he said a little bit louder. "I'll call you if something turns up."

Lavinia let out a small, surprised gasp as Kane kissed her, and grinned, blushing slightly. She took another sip of water, and rested her head on Kane's shoulder.
