Yeah ok, add me. I'd like to talk 'politics' with some of these folks who raised their hands.

Interesting how a few people asking to be included in a political discussion are the ones that aren't likely to to be able to remain civil while participating in said discussion.

And since nobody is likely to understand my brand of politics I would have to refrain from participating. (Indian politics, complex but the world isn't aware of it by and large.

about an hour or so ago, I mentioned that I'm sure it'll end up as a complete 'cluster F'

...but since there's no political vent on the forums & people just gotta vent, I figured "Hey, I'm insane & perfectly cool with that, so simply being a little crazy in making a political skypechat is just a walk in the park for me"

I'm simply adding everyone for now. Those that wanna argue politics will stay, & those that just wanna blindly argue will get the boot

seems fair to me

@ Rodent: I'm about as ignorant on Indian politics as the next guy, but if that's all that stops ya, you should just shake it off & know that it's better to regret something you have done than something you haven't

That said, just speaking for the record overall, I completely understand but don't really care the reasons why someone wouldn't wanna be added. If you don't want in, simply don't post here...for the rest of ya that do, post away

Oh, & @ Laddie...yeah good catch. I totally stole that line. I just forgot which movie I stole it from till you said it

Is it a text chat or a voice chat? I think some internet tough guys would be less inclined to deposit their abuse with their own voice.

It'll be mostly text but I've got no problems in theory with occasional voice...my typing speed sucks & some days I'm gonna be too lazy to pound on the keyboard & would rather just save time by talkin'. The problem comes in when too many people will try to talk at the same time & no one can hear a complete thought...Plus there's the strong possibility that some of that talking will be closer yelling & irritate me to the point of shutting off my speakers.

It's worth experimenting with though

Count me in. This'll be fun to watch.

Oh, pick me, pick -me-.

People added & there's plenty of room for more. C'mon...Bring it

I'm honestly kinda impressed & surprised so far that there's more discussion in there than bile (there's some of that of course, but it ain't bad)
