RE: Junker Gunship - aerelm - 10-29-2013 I just checked, and the version of shiparch that comes with the standard 87 installation is not encoded. RE: Junker Gunship - Pilip - 10-29-2013 That is a mutalisk, Starcraft. Will it work in Vanilla freelancer? RE: Junker Gunship - Black Widow - 10-29-2013 I approve RE: Junker Gunship - TLI-Inferno - 10-29-2013 (10-29-2013, 03:01 AM)Drrobe Wrote: Love the model! Not really. What makes gunboats special isn't their turrets, it's their gunboat shield, their small size, and their mobility. With today's nerfed GB turrets and buffed transport turrets, I can kill a salvager with almost any transport. The Hogosha are nowhere near as large as the Congress, they are a tiny group within Kusari with hardly any connections. Plus, their Raba is enormously better than the Salvager. RE: Junker Gunship - AeternusDoleo - 10-29-2013 Nice model, although it'll be a pain in the neck to hitbox due to all the concave sections. I'm not convinced this should be a gunboat though, or if the Junkers as a whole should even -get- a gunboat class vessel. Would be yet another reason for the house lawfuls to boot the junkers from their turf. On the other hand, a heavy duty salvage tug -would- require heavy armor and a decent powercore. When this discussion came up in dev central I was opposed, but the looks and idea behind the model make me reconsider... Well let me know what the dev team wants, I have a list of things I need to work on from tycho and if this isn't going to get in I can move on to one of the other projects instead of putting time into the hitbox. However I really enjoy this model, along with the junker fighters I worked on. So would love to see it in game and would go well with the new junker fighters. If the Junkers tried to use that against the navy, it wouldn't have a chance at dodging battleship secondaries. It would be completely toast. House lawfuls would have nothing to worry about.
