Moved this to General Discussion, as this does not pertain to server rules, but is a discussion on char names. Also, keep it on topic and less flood like.

As much as Lyth is trolly,

he is right here.

Just because it doesnt make sense to you, does not mean it isnt valid roleplay.

granted, some people do use stupid nonsensical names (like gamertags and other ridiculous names)......

but some you mentioned, like miaou, actually have fairly interesting RP behind them.

tl;dr:
dont say anything like this that even remotely sounds like trying to be RP police, because the community will do what they've done in this thread.

to flip the tables..... 'Zoner Fleet Commander'?

really? i could go on a whole rant about the militaristic connotations of your character's titles and how they make no sense for a zoner but it would be too easy and would just send this thread straight to flood. however, i leave the door open for the less discerning members of this community to do that. First thing, i do not wish to please the 'non-reasonable community' from which i got nothing to learn, already spent too much time in on line games with those. But i do wish to ear and learn from mature community, one's who contradict me with reason and exemption.

Mate, if you came here just to enhance my lack of knowledge of Discovery Mod, you succeeed, congratz, but can i use whatever i want on my sig? Thanks?

Topic: Nicknames, not sigs

Best regards!

Noticed complaining about role playing naming conventions.
Seen the complainer having "Zoner fleet admiral" in the signature.
Leaved, laughing.

atleast 'wet pussy' can be used as a codename for..err.....whoever is the crazy lunatic who chooses it.

superkiller54456 for example, could be used as the name of a reaver, or any other mass murdering group

Pretty much, you have no right to decide how people should role play, especially in the context of names.
Names don't really mean anything in the scope of roleplay. Ok, that might be an understatement, but having a certain name does not define your entire roleplay. I could call myself Cat.Nip, Kitty.Milk, Wet.Pussy or just Meow or whatever. My roleplay does not just come from my name, it comes from what my character does.
And backing up what I said, what gives you the right to decide how people should and shouldn't roleplay?

I think the others are okay, but if you called yourself that, you'd be getting renamed by the Admin team.

WAY too suggestive in another context ...

Wet.Pussy

I see no problem with a ship that just happens to be a mobile strip club or brothel, and is named that way.

Yeah, I guess so Agmen. Maybe a bit too borderline.

My poor water drenched cat, it's getting sexualized like the music industry.
