My first character really that I played was a LPI VHF.
I sat around a lot and talked to people, but thats about it.
When i made a 'sair character however is was like OMG WOOOOAAHHHH!!!
and later i sold all (almost all) my lawful ships and here i am. 95% unlawful.
I find it more fun and you are always in more danger and stuff. Sitting at Manhattan chatting can be fun at times but really, why not have some fun to challenge yourself a bit.
This is only my opinion. I know people that hate being pirates and lawfuls is their thing. All depends.
