Liberty Rogues. I chose them for exact piration, inside from whole area of all unlawfull factions I played. For pirating i prefer gunboat/gunship, as in RP it feat at least a bit, and I can RP a pirate crew.
Outcasts, Corsairs are cool, however, I feel Liberty Rogues are indeed those bad guys, like those bandits from wild west, and I enjoy it.
Also, you have very huge likelihood for having some encouters and some prey, being in Liberty, rather than waiting someone in Omegas, or Sigmas. (at least now)

I like pirat ID too...you never know what you gona get in...
personaly I would like to pirat with Junker ID too..but pirating zone sucks
Junker Piracy is actually profitable in comparison to the others, if you know where to go. You also have a lot of flexibility on what to pirate too.
IMO The ZoI is better than the other pirating factions.
Buuut, I chose LH~ because they're pretty cool.

Interestingly enough people like pirate ID the most. Its at least contested with the other popular pirates out there.

Unione Corse and Hogosha shouldn't really be listed here, given that they are quasilawful groups that have a very small appetite for standard piracy. Sure, I every now and then halt Cardi smugglers or something else that fits our RP, but so will a lawful ID.
Listing the terrorist LWB without also Maquis, Xeno, or FA is a bit inconsistent, as is listing only some revolutionary factions.
Anyway, favorite pirating faction? Well, without the Liberty Navy listed I'll vote Gallic Brigand

Corsairs are broken by both gameplay\playerbase ways - but the NPC faction still have my heart.
