here is the third concept for a GMG HF concept ( replace for the taidan HF )

since its an ancient design, it shows much more kusari influence with 4 folded sunsails. weaponhardpoints are on a simple module on the bottom of the ship - and the vertical structures below the wings. this concept is not yet final though.

well, when all 8 wings are folded out - they form two half moon shaped foils that spread in a " X " shape from the ships body. but i can try adding wings similar to the taidan fighter - that means, sleeker and solid wings.

I really like the HF design, one thing you could consider is adding hull plating, or perhaps some form of modular-looking equipment points to it to represent the additions and subtractions they've been forced to make since its first construction.
I can easily see a group like the GMG optimising their use of technology that way.

Looking at the pictures on the start the bomber is actually smaller than the current taiidan.
Are you/someone making custom hitbox for it?
In any case I believe I can't have exactly same stats as Taiidan has now (which were going to get changed_... not with torp tubes right on the axis. I guess a bit less armor and/or turning decrease closer to the RH bomber.

Mjolner, if it's keeping its current hitbox what's the point of rethinking it? It's the exact same "ship" in every way that matters, just with an aesthetics change.
That being said, yes, I am going to approach Treewyrm to see if he has time on his schedule to fit up a custom sur for the sucker, because I like accurate hitboxes. If he says nay nay I'll approach AOM. If he says nay nay in kind I'll ponder on a ship which might be even better suited still.
