Well, This will be a significant change in Snub PVPs. Seeing it get extended to capital ships doesn't really affect them much. Its pretty much the same thing.

yes, Its a major change for snubs.

I don't feel the use ofB:B would be skill based, with this change, on the contrary :

You'll take more risk by not repairing and therefore will favor insta by random mine or missiles, imao.

As discussed before, I think this should be given a try.
It adds an element of chance into fighting, as especially skilled pvpers will try to not waste their bots, thus opening themselves to unlucky mine hits and other dangers. Consequently, even less skilled players can sometimes have a positive experience by winning (and consequently, we could perhaps see less of a trend towards GBs and Caps for less-skilled snub pvpers - yes, I am an optimist and I like to dream) Big Grin

I get the feeling that that is the point. There is always a chance you're going to get totalled by a lucky shot/random mine/torp explosion. That's how it should be. The skill comes in knowing when to use your bots, and avoiding those random mines/torps/collisions

The amount of bots is being reduced drastically, I believe.

This will affect cap <-> snub balance in adverse way (for the snubs). Unless snubs are given something in exchange, I'm not for indirectly buffing caps. (though fix GBs pls)

Also, with the given example (5000 points regenerated by a nanobot), LFs are going to be screwed as most of them have less than 5000 armor. They received two heavy nerfs already.

It was an example, and this concern was voiced already. LFs won't be forced to waste bots.

Its both okay and not but if it'll fix two things so it'll also blow more than four. First of all its changing FL gameplay to a point.
