Recently I needed to get an AV just because I was so used to Daemon Tools being such a nice program....until the fire nation attacked.

Get Vipre if you want a full featured antivirus program, we sell it through work to our business clients as well as regular consumers, the 2015 version is great.

360 Security is free and it has a Startup Speed Optimizer which is really usefull!

From personal experience I would recommend you stay away from : Trend Micro, Avast, McCafee, AVG
Try using Kaspersky Interet Security along with Malwarebytes (free addtion, do a scan once a week). Nice combo.
Can't recommend from experience but I hear they're good : Norton, Bit Defender, Webroot

I've been using Nod for maybe 6-7 or more years and I gotta say its reliable, never had problems with it.
