I'd rather this carrier be a SRP than just purchasing it since Exiles have hardly any resources. They'd have to rely on Colonials or Council heavily to build the ship. It's a nice idea though - it could definitely contribute to activity and such things. One thing though, would the Council be able to spare some space to build it? What could the Exiles give in return?

Kusarian Girls and tentacles

Sorted.

What? Imaginawa-class carrier made by Exiles? Gut. Very gut.

I like the Idea, as it does make an interesting opportunity to RP the building of such a ship.

Why not let Exiles cooperate with Colonial Republic over this ship? They are not that far away.

Well, short answer here, because the Colonials do not like the Emporer minions. And i guess they never will. Doesn't matter who the emporer or his successor is.

Colonials no. Council maybe, in exchange for shooting King Charles minions...

Not very ivolved in Council RP, but what they are capable to build anyways? I thought they only steal big fancy GRN ships and fly them.

The only thing i can think of is Cape Soya. The biggest problem is: It's in Tottori. So how to fly from there to the Tau's without getting caught? So this idea is rather meh inRP.

I am right now like: "wot?" Since when Colonials do not like Imperials? It wasn't even mentioned by any guy from CR| we were RPing with so far... Are they missing something, because this is a very new info for me and perhaps even for CR| guys itself.

Where Council have their shipyards right now, by the way?

Champagne... However there was a time when COLONIALs were shooting Exiles and vice versa

Yes. That's what i expected. You wot. That's why i said 'i guess'.

Maybe it was more e-peen thing between CR and Kusari players ooRP, but the CR was VERY VERY red to Kusari. They even declared war at Kusari and the Emporer. They did shoot many Hogosha, Farmers, Samura. All very allied to the Exiles. And now i need a good excuse why an Exile, who bows to his emporer or his successor, should talk to a Colonial. You and the CR can now go 'we don't care about the past' all day long if you want, but that doesn't change the fact the Exiles and the Colonials shouldn't be neutral or friendly let alone allied as you mentioned in your first post in this thread.

I really understand the 343 is a new group and all. I am very glad to see an active Exiles faction and i am all for a start of RP with the Colonials for peace, but building an Exile ship at the Colonial Shipyard is just not acceptable right now.

RE: Concept: "Imagawa"-class Light Carrier (Exiles/Council) - Char Aznable - 02-12-2015

Well, the explanation for us being neutral with the CR is a simple pragmatic one - they hate Gauls, we do. It is far from an alliance, true, but it's common ground to build up RP.

But yes, I get your point and yes, I agree with building a ship at the Colonial Yards is not an option now and will probably not be until the passing of another 20-40 years.

Its pretty old info actually. The Emperor is the reason for the war between Kusari and the Colonials, thats lasting until now by the way, there have been attempts to establish peace, but they havent been more than that.
Back then Hogosha used to raid the Taus rather often, CR shot them, then some more things happened and the Emperor got mad and declared war, then the Emperor and his minions got kicked out of his own house, though there is not the slightest bit of a reason why the CR should have forgotten about all that just like that.
They are still the very same people that are responsible for a war, why would the CR allow them to get even remotely close to anything of value? As you said yourself the Emperor used to be some kind of symbol, there are usually more sides to those.

As for the ship itself, why not use a Battlecruiser and RP from there? Have some RP done on how some work gets done on it, which slowly turns it into a more Carrier-like ship (A bit like the Geb maybe?), you dont necessarily need a shipyard I'd say.
