Harris is still what...5 systems away AND you'd have to go through Leeds without getting molested by Gauls. No simple feat, and certainly worth a bit more, eh?

The tradeoff there is no lane travel and more exposure to potential dangers. But, if that's the route that concerns you most, then I could see knocking it down to say 4,800. But with that pricing, it's hard to imagine too many doing it if routes to Cali-Minor or even on to Kusari are that much more profitable, and rightly so.

the thing is unless you give a faction an OP trading commodity then that thing will not usually get people to play the faction.
Commodities are only an addition to the things you need to have an active faction.
I'm not arguing balance here, I'm just saying it would be kinda neat to get that into Planetform's reach by giving them more things to do. I mean the player faction has started being active and everything, we've had good encounters and they're growing quite a bit as well as working towards officialdom. A small boost like that would be neat!

If this gets implemented, Xoria will break adjust the prices based on some arbitrary carefully calculated balance things and stuff so I mean there's really no point guys.

Xoria is not involved into mining commodity prices last time I heard.

I like the idea, its pretty scary really since i had a very similar idea in mind
although, the proposal Jammi makes would basically replace terraforming gasses with Flourine as planetforms premium commodity (obviously excluding GWL) which isnt ideal.
Florine is a temparature control medium it should be sell able only to the following places, Methyr-Tydfill Mining Station where its mined, and to cold/frozen worlds such as Cali Minor and Cold Bay. Miura is a strange topic really, since it was terraformed partially by kishiro using stolen planetform information, I cant really see us taking anything there unless they paid literally through the nose for it, bad blood and all that.
however any of the proposals mentioned either by myself or Jammi is by far better than the current set up.

Which would be a good RP explanation for a very good sell price.
