I usually don't log mediocre boring stuff like this, but an exception must be made. Earlier today, at approximately 1800 standard Sirius time, I responded to an alert. A Rheinland Battleship was present near the Freeport. We didn't invite it there, nor we welcomed it. The RO claimed he was a junker that somehow managed to get his hands on a battleship. Unfortunately for him, we saw through his crap. Just as I mentioned my last encounter with a Rheinland made warship in Delta and it's infected state, the RNC-Schiller came knocking. Speak of the devil, right? We gave the Krauss plenty of chances to comply with our orders, but when the Wilde ship uncloaked ten clicks from it, we did what we had to do. Total and utter annihilation. No mercy, no remorse. As it went down in flames, the RO claimed they were boarded and infected. Something we already knew. I had my HK drones perform a sweep of the area and purge any alien lifeforms.
Meanwhile, the mighty Schiller and her crew had a change of heart. They were no longer on the offense. The odds weren't in their favor anymore and they managed to lose the element of surprise. Those things underestimated us, thinking we wouldn't drop the righteous hammer on them within the no fire zone. But guess what, no nomad and co are safe around us, NFZ or not. The infectees ran with their tails between their legs. One desperate and pathetic torpedo was launched, but our fast-movers barraged it with an ordinance of explosives, blowing it up before it even got near to the Freeport's NFZ. Thus, their exceptionally sad sabotage attempt was foiled.
In retrospect, we obliterated one Rheinland battleship cold in it's tracks, before the infection had the chance to spread throughout it, we scared the second one crapless and as a bonus, we had a nice target practice. And on top of that, we most likely saved the Freeport from a whole lot of infectees with guns and no regard for personal space whatsoever. I should prolly talk to that admin of theirs and kindly advice her to stop handing docking rights left and right like drug dealers hand out free samples. It's all fun and games until someone goes on a nox fueled killing spree with a shovel and no pants.
All in all, today was a good day. Daniels, out!

Today's top story: Dabadoru NEMP Strike Aftermath
The Core is publically publishing its report on Operation D.A.B (Dabadoru Artillery Barrage). Approximately several months The Core launched a nuclear strike against the Order held Dabadoru station. This inflicted serious heavy damage, and it seems the station was only capable of accepting supplies just recently.
In an act of desperation, the Order rallied its same-scum criminal allies, such as the Coalition, to help repair the station via supplies of Deutrium. To help defend these deliveries, the Order deployed some of it's forces to the Omicron Delta system. Whilst the deliveries were a success and our agents report that Dabadoru is at least semi-operational again, The Core dealt heavy blows and major losses to The Order forces.
Unsurprisingly, the Order Overwatch was absent from most of the engagements. Perhaps with Delta far away from Mu, combined with the increasing pressure of Nomad forces in the Omicron Minor system, the Overwatch is struggling to protect its assets?
All in all, Operation D.A.B was a decisive success; a successful blow in undermining The Order's already weak position in the Delta system. For those in Omicronis only one question remains: what comes next?

Universal shipping will be shifting vast amounts of resources our way and in return, we'll be selling them top quality Iridium, amongst other things. Of course, none of our other supplies will be harmed by this new player on the field. I've had the APM run the numbers andtheir Acting CEO, Natasha Rayne, personally approved and signed the contract.. She herself was thrilled, to say the least.
As a result, we'll be able to build even more ships and weapons. And you know what that means, folks! We're going to continue bringing boots to asses! Needless to say, this wouldn't have been possible by one very special businesswoman, Nicole Burton. Her... expertise was invaluable.
All jokes aside, this logistical union will further our goals and thanks to the newfound supplies, we'll be able to sustain, and even increase, our offensive operations throughout the sector.
And here's a bonus section for you! As of this moment, Battlegroup Ehrgeiz is being dispatched back to the Omegas. During the last few days, we have confirmed that the Coalition is actively cooperating with the order, so it's time we did something about it. The Core won't tolerate random fanatics invade our space. No! We shall invade them back and bring the fight to their doorstep. The best defense is total and absolute annihilation of your enemies! I will personally lead the operation and you can be sure, I'll make those communists pay for their crimes against the Imperium! They will curse the day they joined the party!

With its recent diplomatic successes and the finalisation of the Nauru Docking Ring, in the near future, The Core plans to greatly expand upon its operations in the Omega-55 system, as well as starting to build up its presence in the neighbouring Sigma systems. This will require a hefty amount of Iridium, with AP Manufacturing more than willing to pay those who make deliveries.

Rheinland and Kusari have already published statements, and Rheinland has specifically stated that APM Advanced Hardware is prohibited from being transported to Kusari.

CORE DESTROYS ORDER BATTLESHIP IN OMEGEA-58
Recently, Dagger Outpost came under vicious attack. It was concluded that the assailants were no other than the cowardly Order - striking at humble men and women simply trying to make a living from Planet Skagen. A Core Battleship was quickly dispatched before it intercepted and destroyed the Battleship Canaan. All crew on board were reported to have been eliminated. Another victory!

In the meantime, said Battleship will support our efforts in the region before it is most likely deployed there permanently. Who knows what treasures it'll find as it explores the Omega region?
CORE PUSHES TOWARDS OMICRON GAMMA
With The Core's grasp over Delta solidified, it's now starting to go on the attack towards Corsair space. Skirmishes have gone as far as Chi and Xi, with rare raids sometimes going into the heart of Corsair space: Omicron Gamma. Reports indicate that Xi's rich collection of rare artifacts and ruins are what has drawn the attention of The Core, as well as The Core taking over Rheinland's operations in Xi as they turn their attention to the Sigmas instead.

So far, frequent raids have been made against Corsair structures within Xi, with The Core hoping to pick up Rheinland's momentum and capitalise on the power vacuum. As of current, mining operations within the system are not being looked into. This may change in the future.
At this time, we are unable to report on the exact nature of Core operations in Omicron Chi.
DHC CONSTRUCTS ENNIBECK SPACEPORT IN ORBIT OF TUVALU
As part of an agreement with DHC and to increase civilian presence and security in the Omicrons, The Core has cooperated to build an installation with Daumann Heavy Construction in orbit of Tuvalu, near Nauru. This has allowed for civilian traffic to be diverted from Yaren to Ennibeck, ensuring Yaren is converted to a proper military installation within Nauru's orbit.

Lastly, Ennibeck has also lead to an additional influx of MND personnel to assist The Core with their operations in the Omicrons. This added security can only be a boon.

ARCHOS STEPS DOWN, ROTTSCHILD BECOMES GUILDMASTER
Earlier this week, Guildmaster Archos resigned and his post was taken by William Rottschild. Why did Archos made this decision wasn't discussed with the press.
Many speculate Archos burned out and wasn't capable of leading, but in truth, he's still on the Core's active roster, although most of his active assignments are highly classified.
The former Guildmaster did tell us his plans about the future: He'll be seeing a whole lot more action and much less paperwork. We're with you, Archos, give 'em hell out there!
NAURU DOCKING RING NOW 100% OPERATIONAL
Fresh from the APM's press center, we have information that Nauru's Docking Ring is now fully functional. All minor engineering flaws and defects were sorted out, allowing our vessels, along with anyone else on good enough terms with the Core, to freely and safely visit the surface. We actually have a few words from the Director of APM, Mr. Jack Daniels:

And last but not least, Battlegroup Ehrgeiz has a new acting commander - Guildkeeper Jessica Scarlet. If you have forgotten already, the Battlegroup is based on Dagger Station and it serves as a buffer between us and them. This decision was taken because of the recent attack on Dagger by the Order. It is rumored that Ehrgeiz will still feature the Mako of the same name. Other additions will be the Heavy Cruiser Herschel, Destroyer Tyrannus and last but not least, the legendary Battlecruiser Anassi. A truly marvelous piece of engineering and the favorite ship of more than three separate Guildmasters. I don't know about you, but I will sleep better at night, knowing Scarlet the "Ehrgeiz" got our backs.

- Thank you Ms. Takanawa. Since Imperium Omicronis had opened its gates for the broad civilian populous of Sirius, new commercial prospects arose. The obvious one is of course colonization. Planeside infrastructure for large scale settlement had already been in place when AP Manufacturing broke up the champagne over the newly installed orbital docking facilities. While goods exchange flourished from day one, passenger traffic proved rather slow. A recent market study conducted in all the major houses has shown that though interest in migration towards the Edge Worlds is on the rise, the dangers a such lengthy voyage carries is rendering low fare commercial passenger transport simply not worth the risk. Being the industrial tycoon of the Edge Worlds, AP Manufacturing is capable of meeting this demand by treating it as an investment in state prosperity rather than pure return value a service actively rendered.

- That is an excellent question. Let me start by saying that since its very beginnings The Core has been standing guard between humanity and the great unknown. It is thanks to their selfless devotion that civilization remains shielded from predatory alien species of inconceivable intents. Moreover, those keepers of mankind wage war on yet another front against savages, criminals and terrorists who sought out the Edge Worlds for free roam of their despicable, madness driven, unlawful conduct. Hence safe transit through the Omicrons as well as parts of the Sigmas is ensured by the Omicronis strong militant arm.
And what about the dangers that lurk outside the reach of The Core, for instance in house space and in the border worlds?
- Both The Core and AP Manufacturing are allies and close business partners with the recognized lawful house authorities of Sirius, so naturally we are under their authority and protection while venturing through their respective space. Still, to strengthen the confidence in our capabilities, APM passenger liners will be equipped with a military grade loadout of defensive weaponry. Though I hope not ever needing to resort to lethal measures, I will not flinch in the face of danger to those who put their trust in our company.
I could not think of anything that would be more reassuring than an attitude like yours captain. Could you tell us about the routes the Invincible will be covering?
- Certainly. The greatest interest amongst settlers resides in Rheinland, particularly Hamburg and Stuttgart. If this prospect keeps up, we will consider launching a steady route between those systems and Planet Nauru directly. Apart from that we shall also cover routes from California and Honshu to the transit point at Freeport 11, depending on current demand. Local travel agencies have already added our offer in their range of services, tickets should therefore be available for sale any day now. I should add that APM covers free travel insurance for all passengers choosing us for their flight to the great frontier civilization of Imperium Omicronis.

- Since I myself too have an adventurous mind I am pleased to say that there is no other place in known space to be as rich in traces of ancient galactic civilizations than Nauru. The hobbyist xenoarcheologist will be thrilled to take a tour through uncovered ruins and architectural remnants of races whose presence in these parts antedate our own by millennia. Several sites which have been deemed safe for public access will be open for sightseers to be awed. Our guides will be happy to tell you about the discoveries we have made, the histories we uncovered and the mysteries that still puzzle even the brightest minds. The Athena City Museum of Xenoculture houses the largest collection of most unique artifacts from the Dom’Kavosh era and beyond, found not only on Nauru, but also liberated from the hands of smugglers out of the infamous Omicron Gamma sector, home to the savage pirate cartels known as Corsairs. Tourists and sightseers will surely find a trip to Nauru more than titbit.

The past Guildmaster of the Core Paramilitary has refused to comment on to why The Core was not able protect our home system from those pests, but a word from a current Guildmaster has confirmed that, to the time of this happening, The Core Fleets were scattered around and focused in Omega systems due to a rising Cretan and Coalition activity in the region. We remind you that Invicta Research Station was in inoperable and unrepairable conditions for two years and was abandoned by its crew six months prior the attack. For janitors that they are, The Order surely does their job well!

For days and months our people were asking the same question. "What is the endgame goal? When will we do the next move? And what will it be?"
The Core High Command Secretary, Laurence Miles Arcturus, was willing to share some brief commentaries about the Core's further progression.
