Back to that, yea well in Vanilla FL, once you shot a base until red, NPCs started to launch from the base, if i remember right(might ve been a mod). But it gave the feeling yea at least the base is somehow populated and beeing secured by actualy "people". I agree most of what I brought up at first post was a little too much lol but i think some of them could be discussed here. About idea - probably its really overcomplicated for already not best PoB eco model. Idea is good itself, but what you suggest is basically creating tycoon game inside freelancer, and even if that could be ok (for example, discovery/hacking minigames in EvE), pushing it on top of already screwed thing will screw it only more.
