RE: Kid-Pilots in disco - Quetz - 08-14-2015 If it's like maneuvering your ship in disco, it won't be that difficult.. even for kids. RE: Kid-Pilots in disco - Shiki - 08-14-2015 You guys just envy to the successful anime-girls admirals who in their's 14 yo can command the battleship. If you waste your life so it doesent mean that in disco characters can't do different RE: Kid-Pilots in disco - Ryus - 08-14-2015 In the US minimum age for unpowered flight private pilots license is 16, powered flight is 17. Just process that for a moment. That means they can act as the pilot in command for a private aircraft. 17. RE: Kid-Pilots in disco - TheShooter36 - 08-14-2015 for some Guinness Records 11(in an instance a 7 yo girl too) year olds flies a plane (generally a cessna 172) coast-to-coast https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jessica_Dubroff this one ended badly for her dont bring kid pilots to disco so at least make them 16 yo
RE: Kid-Pilots in disco - Sturmwind - 08-14-2015 Child soldiers are totally common in less-developed countries around the world. The same could apply in the case of equally undeveloped factions with a shortage on personnel. just sayin it makes sense if you RP it right RE: Kid-Pilots in disco - TheJarl - 08-14-2015 (08-14-2015, 08:52 AM)Sturmwind Wrote: Child soldiers are totally common in less-developed countries around the world. That wouldn't really apply to the main houses for example though, though it is something I can imagine a group like the Corsairs would do. Although in the case of Bretonia perhaps it could be like during the Second World War, where teenagers would lie about their age to sign up and the recruiters might 'accidentally' forget the proper background check. In general though: it doesn't matter what the age is, as long as you can justify it in-RP. RE: Kid-Pilots in disco - Error - 08-14-2015 (08-14-2015, 03:47 AM)Mongo Slade Wrote: Since furries were mentioned... how does the age issue work out there? Since you know cats and dogs age faster than humans? Is an 11 year old furry allowed to pilot a spaceship?Sixty-year-olds should be just fine to fly, yes. ))) RE: Kid-Pilots in disco - Enkidu - 08-14-2015 (08-14-2015, 07:35 AM)Ryus Wrote: In the US minimum age for unpowered flight private pilots license is 16, powered flight is 17. Of course, your pappy's Piper Cub doesn't have freakin' plasma cannons coming of the wazoo. RE: Kid-Pilots in disco - Apollon - 08-14-2015 I believe it's fine as long as the 'kid' has both the physical strength and form, and as well, have the brains to react fast and analyze the situation he's in. Basically, a prodigy. |
