Hudson, I think you need to retreat just a little and readjust to the level of seriousness Disco keeps in order for the population to remain at a healthy mental state.
You will find that, as already stated before, these sort of trips are a common thing. Any ID can exit their ZOI. The only reason the ZOI exists and applies to is for the engagement rules.
Just like an Order ID, whose ZOI is the omicrons, can travel around Sirius, any ID is capable to do so. If anything, an LNS operation in the deep edge worlds makes more sense than seeing them in other house space.
I need remind you that you are still generally new. We have noticed your fondness for the LN ID and your efforts with the Vigilantes police squad have proven that you have great love for Liberty, but you are starting to ''quality judge'' everyone's efforts in the general area.
It is uncalled for. Especially when you do not know the full picture.

Omicrons are uncontested territory.

I have to dissapoint you but Omicrons are heavily contested and highly territorial, allthrough not by any house entity like Liberty. By lore, it makes a lot of sense for both Liberty AND Rheinland to travel to Omicrons. Freeport 7 was actually used by the houses to stage their own respective exploration teams. That was before Nomads, The Order and in times when Alaska was dead-end system unrelated to Omicrons. Furthermore, one of Omicron Iota installations - precisely Altaiir - was per lore built by Liberty as more or less self-sufficient government starbase. Of course, that was before it was nommified by Nomads. Rheinland's attempts to colonize Omicrons also have failed miserably due to certain events that lead up to Nomad War from vanilia campaign.
Let LNS raid Omicrons by all means. Locals (myself speaking on behalf of The Order) are more than happy to restore the balance with their own bombers.

What I meant by that was that the omicrons in the eyes of houses are free territory and a desirable one at that.

I find it somewhat funny (?) that unrelated people heat up the topic they actually had nothing to do with. So two 5th dreads wandered up to Omicron 99. So what? Happens sometimes, it's not different to occasional sight of zoner caps there as well. They ended up dead once the locals woke up to respond, myself included. That's how the story begins and how it ends and there is nothing more to it than that. Why some folks make fuss out of it is beyond me...

So you think raging in our feedback thread and calling us fools makes the situation better? No, it makes you look like a fool yourself. In any situation, the Navy would've done the same thing. However, since it was one of your members on an Alt account, there isn't much we could really do. Your base is a useless thing that only you want there. No one else wants it there.
Besides, it's a Core 1 base. Saying you worked Countless hours on it doesn't work. You can easily rebuild the same base elsewhere at any time, it would literally take 4 days.
