It's more of a clever use of Freelancer's buyback system. I have no wish to add strain to the server just because a few players always want more money and are willing to abuse the system to do that.

I belive he is reffering to what I fell into , selling passengers and not getting the event reward, not the general useage.

I just bought Passengers from liner MacKinac and I did not receive any message like "Entered event OSC - Nagano". No message, so I decided to sell the cargo back and log off. I fly a luxury liner with OSC id and tag of course. On my first route yesterday, it worked just fine. Decided to do another today and I don't receive that starting message.

There is message on the forums main page. It says:

Understandable, it is pretty well hidden on the top of the page, big white letters in a bright yellow box in front of dark background, easy to miss.
