RE: CORE Dreadnought - Redcroft - 01-31-2016 nr 1 is like a B Cruiser nr 2 like a Deep space explorer RE: CORE Dreadnought - Mao - 01-31-2016 (01-31-2016, 11:30 PM)Thunderer Wrote: I'd actually refrain from it until they are fixed. All forward guns have the bug that sometimes you see them hit and do damage, but your target sees them miss and do damage. Or, you see them miss and not do damage, while your target sees them hit and not do damage. It is really difficult to avoid a projectile if you don't know where it is going. Isn't that related to lag? I know it also happened with the SNAC... RE: CORE Dreadnought - Thunderer - 01-31-2016 It happens to the snac, to mortars, sometimes even to pulses. Pretty much to all the "1 shot weapons". I've been told it is because of server la, but I wonder why doesn't it affect burst weapons then. Also, FGs have this bug greatly increased. Sometimes you will see a Valor fire its FG at some completely random point in the vacuum in front of it, the shot passing some 1 or 2K away from your ship, and it still does damage. I think that this should be fixed first, and only then more weapons of this kind should be introduced. Forward guns are not OP, they are merely buggy. RE: CORE Dreadnought - Ichiru - 02-01-2016 I don't really think the Core needs any more ships. They already have a very large shipline for a faction of their size. RE: CORE Dreadnought - Wesker - 02-01-2016 They do, the order posses the most broken and overpowered ship in the mod. Combined with legates and buttlcloaking marduks. RE: CORE Dreadnought - D!ce - 02-01-2016 Some how I am getting blank images from p3d when anyone is this forums links the model. Unless if you can paste a url to direct me to the website - I won't be able to see it.

Furthermore, it fills the gap whereby the Mako is not fit for missions or Nomad remain hunting. The Mako doesn't satisfy the roles we require a battleship for, simply. If someone has the time to go through the effort and create a model (excellent work btw unlucky_soul) and someone, some people, or a faction are willing to go through the effort to RP a vessel - the question is why not? RE: CORE Dreadnought - Durandal - 02-01-2016 If this was going in, I was very much under the impression that it would replace the Mako. RE: CORE Dreadnought - Lythrilux - 02-01-2016 Considering the ship has a different name, and the Mako does not need to be replaced, that was never the case. The modeler would simply add a few armor plates here and there, maybe a new ship module to house a bigger powercore, an extension here, another one there and there you have a new Heavy BS / Dreadnought with some good RP behind it. |
