Why not?

The Almighty Alley has spoken.

When you do the coding . . . you get to decide if it is something you want to do, should do, or even if it would actually work.
I'm with Alley on this. I don't code here, but I can imagine how daunting it would be to try to get the code to work with umpteen factions, and even more bases. There's enough perks and stuff out there. Let's concentrate on Role Play!

I think Alley said it quite clearly...

At this moment there are three plugin setups coded (actually I´m not even sure if all three police factions does not have one same setup). Giving it to all official factions means to code and create another at least 30 unique setups (and that´s without counting in militaries/inteligence factions). That is amount of official factions with their own bases.

Not only that would probably take quite a lot of time, but if Alley says that nodocks we already have (that´s three at top) are causing issues (can confirm that, happened to me in the past the plugin was broken and /nodock didn´t work), then I can understand why there is concern how more than 30 of them would affect the stability of server.

You're all sharing the same list of bases, so in theory if you took an RFP| ships in Liberty and started /nodocking people it'd work there.

*grins evilly before making a Gallic Royal Police snub and /nodocking everyone in Liberty*

Yeah good luck with that... Already heard of an LPI no dock someone at Ames, which is not allowed..

RE: Official Factions and /nodock - Skorak - 04-25-2016

Why is that not allowed? And why does it work? iirc we cannot /nodock people at Rochester.

Because Zoners can't be trusted.
Joke aside, somehow Ames wasn't included in the exemption list.

There is little detail - first you need to make GRP faction and bring it to officialdom. Then you can try it (and then watch being sanctioned for it Smile )

That´s grey area a little, technically Kepler is still in LPI ZOI so I am not sure if it isn´t allowed.

People shouldn't be able to /nodock bases they don't own (with the exception of House Police /nodocking House lawful baes). That'd be silly.
