They can find drug easy with trained dogs , but guns and like only by completely dismantling car .

Lots of people don't use freelancer companion , and even ones that use it , it is not 100% reliable . When you have samples of goods , it is just like you have prices writen on paper .

Apparently, you have never met an American cop! :-)

you want to know the prices? use freelancer companion running along side the game in window mode

that's what i do and it damn well works!

Cargo scan should be removed. instead just allow scan via trading monitor. This would be much more interesting.

Meanwhile Cryer ID.

my perception is that the law determines what is legal and what is not. Regarding the law, it usually does not matter if you have 1 or 1000 units of an illegal substance. However, a police officer may adapt his behavior depending on the quantities: indeed a small quantity may be tolerated because it is not expected it will be resold for profit. Also, the fine could depend on the quantities. Nevertheless, I think it should be a personal choice of the law representative (like in real life).

In Rheinland there is some space for roleplay about low quantities.

§2.1.4.1. All contraband must be always confiscated and handed over to relevent station or in case of non-human contraband destroyed on site.

§2.1.4.2. Violator is obliged to pay 1.000 SC fine for every cargo unit of contraband, however minimum sum is 250.000 credits regardless of the amount of contraband.

§2.1.4.3. In case of 5 cargo units of contraband or less, law enforcer may waive from issuing fine and use only formal warning, if he sees fit.

I promoted this option to give law enforcers some roleplay space, because some people carry one unit contraband as "enounter decoy" to engage roleplay. Strict cops may still fine them, those with understanding and less strict attitude may let them go without fine, especially when some interesting roleplay happens.

Regarding OP - just no. This is roleplay server and you propose promoting of completely ooRP behaviour enforced by rules. If you somehow need "catalog character" for prices, don´t fly around with it. Simple as that.

I hope you'll enjoy always being pirated as if you were carrying ore.

Yes , this is good option , but lots of law players ( especially new ones ) don't know for it and don't use it , that is why i have suggested something similar to be entered in to ID of law units .

It's up to roleplayers to teach others how to enforce the laws then, not the admins.
