New players are being taught that piracy is, for some reason, an oorp process and that it should not be met with RP and can be treated as oorp - by just telling the person to blow them up. I have seen separate moments when a trader I've seen RP and interact with police or lawful forces just go full oorp as they are encountering a pirate. Wut. And we seem to have many people like that flying around. So there is someone who interacts with newbies to teach them this nonsense.

That there is only about 30 actual Roleplayers and the rest of the population must've gotten lost while trying to play COD or Euro truck simulator.

It is not judging ETS, It is the fact that they play as if all there is to do is move goods from A to B and nothing more. While the COD players are nothing but blue hunters using any means to get them.
