Were they D9 players?

Also, just leave Liberty. Liberty is merciless to new players.

Yes, they were.

Oh.
How unexpected.

Why is that?

Well, uh.
I can't give an answer to that.

Edit:

Wilde are with the nomads
Nomads kill people

That should sum everything up

Yeah, uh, that.

Hey, you know, i have around like, 1 month of experience, so i suppose it should be normal to know every single faction and what they do?

No, not until i meet each one of them. I cant know if you are sarcastic or not.

And what i find unexpected (and what im trying to discuss here) is that 2 guys unexpectedly come for a random rogue who hasnt done anything.

Random rogue you are human. Wild/nomads are at war with humans. You exist, you are alive, so for them you are a enemy.

Yes, they were. They dont seem to be very active though, thats why i wondered if these guys suddenly decided to pick up on me.

Haha, D9, hahahah. Big joke.

Avoid them. All they do is claim to be LSF agents and you're obviously supposed to believe them, or they just uncloak, ask a few stupid questions (like the people who ask them) and shoot. What. A. Joke.

Yes, sure, but he might be right in one thing. Thats a RP game, not Call of Duty. RP doesn't mean killing, but more stuff. You don't need to engage every damn time you move your ship.
Altrough there are factions and factions... If you log a Wilde char, make sure you are looking for problems, so thats what they done. You're not paranoic, thats happening actually to every player in the whole server. You don't want to fight or you are not prepared to defense yourself during your trip in space? Dont take off the shippie bays, cause in Liberty, everything is possible.

Cheers!

Rule 1.2 in action? Wink

At OP, not sure if it's specifically ruining your day, but people do use the chat list and then hunt in system. As long as they would target any other unlawful similarly, then they are all good by the rules. If you're in a system, watch the chat list to make sure people don't creep up on you. If you suspect it, change system and if they follow you into the new system then you know what's going on.

People are unfortunately going to kill your time and blue message you. Worst case, you move to another system. Can't do much about any player who's upping their blue count and giving the mediocre modicum of reasonable doubt RP to kill you.

I was paying attention to the LNS players on other systems, most of them were on pennsylvania (wonder why, seemed that an event was going on there or something), those guys just came out of nowhere when i didnt checked.

I suppose i will try to hunt cargo ships in other systems like some of you have suggested.

If some people just want to destroy people, why just not go to connecticut, or make a non-rp server? I feel that The Wild ID was designed for griefiers or something.

1. Wild and Nomads are here to kill humans. That's their only purpose. They may chose to use you, they may chose to simply waste you but the final goal is to kill all humans. You obviously don't know this simple piece of lore.
2. The first thing you told them was "HELLO PERSON WHO SWALLOWED A WORM". Like you just know they're aliens. That's called metagaming and usually players will engage you if they see you can't play your role according to your ID.
3. The fact that you want to play with NPCs and don't harm other players doesn't make you invisible to other players. You're playing on a live server.
4. Piracy in capital systems is bad. They're supposed to be the best defended systems of a house. This time it was D9, next time it will be LN, LPI, LSF or some merc. Unless you're good at PvP or you come with a lot of buddies, you will end up as a blue message.

Now, some free advice to you: Familiarize with the way you should interact with Nomads/Wild. Angels should be able to help you there. Read the lore, the politics and the history of Sirius. That will give you a good picture. Do cargo piracy (against NPC or players) outside house systems or as far as possible from the lawful entities. Be sure to always have an escape plan.

I've just re-arranged this post to make it clearer on how to deal with it. (Not worth the risk unless you can afford to "die" for 2 hours.)

I mean, I just got unbanned. Getting banned again would annoy me up an asscrack. I'll give it a few months before I start flaming again.

I wish truth being a defence existed in Discovery the same way truth being a defence against defamation existed in RL.

oh the irony

realistically, use the player list to avoid interaction with anyone that has a hostile tag or you know is after you, because they WILL use the playerlist to search for you

Oh wow, amazing, i connected with my rogue, tried to travel to california, then a LN cruiser appears and disrupts me.

His roleplay: "You are going to die rogue".

This is absurd, there has to be a limit to what should be pvp and what is not.
