Oh hell, I'm happy with anything on any end of the spectrum, except the chain guns, which are terribly inefficient. Though I'm very partial to Black Widows for their sawn off shotgun like stats. Low range, high damage, high power requirement, but if you have high damage, you won't be needing many shots to take down most fighters.
I don't have a Xeno character mind you, though I've been thinking of making one.

So... GMG, Junker, RM, GC, LH, LWB, RM.
Hornvipers are, by far, my favorite gun, though. Followed by the Hellflurries.
Any remaining doubts as to why I've been willing to lead RM for years? o_O

Oh, I'd just like to add that Black Widows are fun. Especially against those level 1-5 Bounty Hunter NPCs, where 4 can destroy them in one pass...

You can make a beatiful, continous stream of gunfire if you chain those in a 2:2 ratio

5.88, Suncannon D
4.00, Kraken 2's or Black widows. I honestly can decide with this. The widows do such epic damage...
3.03, Wyrm 2's
2.00, Magma Hammers.
I prefer guns with 4.00 refire, but 3.03 is awesome as well. The -only- 8.33's I like are daitos, and a fair few 5.88s are alright as well.
All of my OC sabres have a mix of krakens and wyrms, just for the chain fire effect that Templar noted. It's a great.

I'd have to say the Black Widows are probably my favorite non code. They consume so much power, but the effect is... SPEC...TAC...ULAR! I do agree with the others regarding the chaingun line, they have been so nerfed that all you can say about them is "Pretty". I've got the turret, but of course, I barely use it as I prefer to keep my targets in front of me.
