RE: Admin Notice: Rule changes regarding cheating + Clarification on CDing cloaked ships - Sombs - 02-26-2017 Boys, it's easy. The Admins can't check whether it's a multibox tool or a real person in most cases, so stop being rebellious for something that is justified and just deal with how it currently is. If you have a girlfriend, better do something else with her than powertrading. You're all in an age where you know what to do with each other. I suggest reading everything before making silly replies based on nothing. There is no way to prove these situations one way or another and exceptions to this rule would be too problematic to track. In short, nothing in the rules regarding multiboxing has changed. It is a clarification due to specific instances. If you are both roleplaying while flying, people encounter you and while doing so have no reason to think you are multiboxing? There will probably not be a report against you anyway. Carry on. RE: Admin Notice: Rule changes regarding cheating + Clarification on CDing cloaked ships - Etaphreven - 02-26-2017 EDIT: removed long ass quote Alright. Thanks for the clarifications. RE: Admin Notice: Rule changes regarding cheating + Clarification on CDing cloaked ships - Etaphreven - 02-26-2017 I am obviously referring to the other part of your comment, @"Sombra Hookier" . Y'know, what's around "The Admins can't check whether it's a multibox tool or a real person in most cases". Regardless, your interference was pointless as usual. This is not the drama you're looking for. RE: Admin Notice: Rule changes regarding cheating + Clarification on CDing cloaked ships - nOmnomnOm - 02-26-2017 What I ment to say is what if my friend that used to play the game decided he wants to play just to get the nostalgic feeeeeels back and we go smuggling for instance. In the end, he wont have use of the money so he would just send it to me. What does it matter if he would be in my place or we be separate? In both places, the end result is the same. You are placing a stance that if a player plays he must be committed to the community or else he is just a bot. Edit: Like i get you are doing this to make it easier for you to judge things, but still :| RE: Admin Notice: Rule changes regarding cheating + Clarification on CDing cloaked ships - sindroms - 02-26-2017 Actually, we can very well check whether or not the player are two players or someone trying (and failing) to fly alone. This change is to make sure people understand that setting your 5yo, hamster, pet tentacle monster or whatever against the wheel of the second ship and saying it is legit will not fly. If the other player does not contribute to the roleplay environment and all of their earned credits are not being used by them to make that happen, we will treat it as cheating. Plain and simple. I suggest you wrap your head around it and stop asking philosophical questions. Each case is unique anyway and there are not enough asterisks to this rule we can put. Each reported case will be evaluated individually. If you are not doing anything dumb, you will be fine. We guarantee that. We had multiple cases of people flying with "family members" during powertrading, like one guy claiming he was playing with his son. In formation. There is one thing having people actually being able to contribute to the environment by typing and doing stuff and there is the kind of people that have other "people" flying during powertrade. It's simple. Now if you ask me, I know better things to do with other people than powertrading. ;3 RE: Admin Notice: Rule changes regarding cheating + Clarification on CDing cloaked ships - Etaphreven - 02-26-2017 (02-26-2017, 03:45 PM)Sombra Hookier Wrote:(02-26-2017, 03:34 PM)Etaphreven Wrote: I am obviously referring to the other part of your comment, @"Sombra Hookier" . As usual, the first part makes perfect sense and is well known, you have added nothing to the conversation. Bragging about what you can do with your hands though is completely off topic. Nobody asked, nobody cares, it's your personal life. EDIT: And with that, consider me out of this conversation. Spaz has clarified what I needed to know so it's over. |
