RE: Bretonian BC. WIP - Thunderer - 08-29-2017 Maybe they are still too Frankensteinish, though. I can still easily discern exact parts of the Dunkirk and of the Crecy. Maybe you planned to fuse them together in a finer way with some finishing touches? I agree with your marriage philosophy, though. RE: Bretonian BC. WIP - Abu - 08-29-2017 0.4.0 version looks really cool. I like the design. RE: Bretonian BC. WIP - Durandal - 08-29-2017 #4 is definitely the way to go. I have issues pertaining to the giant cylinder on top, both in terms of balance and aesthetics. I'm not sure how you plan to make it look like an integrated part of the ship rather than just sort of sitting there. Axing it entirely may be the way to go, but I'm sure you have a plan for it. This is why polyamory. RE: Bretonian BC. WIP - Swallow - 08-29-2017 Without that barrel on top it looks lonely. RE: Bretonian BC. WIP - Thunderer - 08-29-2017 What about a ship inspired by a trilobite? Or a eurypterid? Thick armour above, soft stuff below. Flat and thin, so usable for PvP, but wide from above or below, so it has angles which it is not supposed to reveal. Also looks like seafood, so it fits the Bretonian line. |
