RE: Sirius Coalition Expeditionary Corps|SCEC - Communication Channel - Chronicron - 03-03-2018 Reconnaisance Report - Iridium supply
![]() ![]() To: HCSTA Commissar Alexey Novikov WARNING: REPORT CONTAINS "TOP SECRET" GRADE MATERIAL! SHARE WITH AUTHORISED PERSONNEL ONLY! Commander Grachov, reporting after the long investigation in the Edge Worlds. As the result of detecting the Iridium traces within the Gammuian AI shells, I was sent on the investigation in Omicron Delta to see any valuable sources of Iridium. I've performed the complete survey of the system and I was yet to find any said sources. The only place where you can find it is Freeport 11 and it is being exported by local merchants. I've been staying around Freeport for a few days until I finaly got a hint from the League that the source of Iridium is located nearby - in Omicron Lost system. RE: Sirius Coalition Expeditionary Corps|SCEC - Communication Channel - SCEC - 03-05-2018 ![]() HCTSA HCSTA does hereby inform all SCEC and other staff concerned of the new important directive. The new Task Force is specialised on covert operations and will render you the assistance you requested in the light of increased hostilities in space where expeditions are taken. The directive is effective starting from today. For further clarifications, please refer to Dr. Mstislav Belov or submit your request to HCSTA communications office. ![]() ![]() RE: Sirius Coalition Expeditionary Corps|SCEC - Communication Channel - SCEC - 03-06-2018 ![]() HCSTA REPORT #825-006 ![]() FROM: SCEC CRO Dr. Mstislav Belov RE: Expedition to "Omicron Lost" Comrade High Commissar, The crew of “Kardashev” salutes you as one! Hereby we present you the report on our recent expedition to Omicron Delta. SUMMARY The venture presupposed two objectives: - Trace the source of Iridium traded on Freeport 11 - Search for the possible AI presence in the sector. Both objectives were successfully carried out. We also established contact with sentient machines from Gammu in Omicron Kappu, that rapidly escalated into combat resulting in our tactical victory and obtaining samples of bigger AI node. To our regret, two pilots were stricken down in a fight against a REDACTED specimen. We also now presume, that Gammu AI and REDACTED are non-hostile to each other and render mutual assistance and information exchange. DETAILED REPORT 1. Itinerary Kamchatka Station (Omega 55) -> Omicron Theta -> Omicron Kappa -> Omicron Delta -> Previously unknown system (referred to by zoners as “Omicron Lost”) 2. Deployed Forces SCEC
3. Iridium As the reconnaissance report of agent Grachov indicate, zoners on Freeport 11 enjoy good supply of Iridium. Our analytics suggested, that due to political calamity with the Core the Iridium had unlikely been delivered from the moon of Nauru. The further investigation led to a jumphole to previously uncharted on Coalition maps system. As a result, an expedition was planned. Our forces managed to reach uncharted Omicron (thereafter referred to as “Omicron Lost”) system without any incidents. In the system to our surprise we met a zoner vessel "Tundra" piloted by comrade Erik who provided us with the information regarding “the only available Iridium deposit in open space in the whole Sirius sector” (sic). CPRV “Kardashev” spotted the deposit and used our tectonic modules of different power capabilities to extract raw samples for analysis. 4. AI While “Kardashev” was dealing with Iridium, the rest of the forces led by Aspirant Shweik conducted a survey of the only planet spotted in the vicinity to the jumphole. The planet appeared to be a gas giant from the distance, yet proved to be a terrestrial world. REDACTED ruins were spotted on the surface. At the same time, “Kuybyshev’s” scanners picked up unknown signatures resembling the patterns previously observed in Omicron Omega. The similarity was corroborated by establishing visual contact with AI facility which by design appeared to be a refitted human-built station. However, our survey of the system and objects of interests were interrupted by an incursion of a very big REDACTED specimen. For the sake of the safety of expedition we withdrew from the system back to Omicron Delta. The data obtained were stored on hard drive of CPW “Kuybyshev” 5. Encounter with AI drones and subsequent combat En route to Omicron Kappa we ran into an AI drone that turned out to be open for negotiations. The exchange of IFF data led to its decision of staying neutral. Throughout the interaction we conducted multiple scans of the drone, yet most of the information had already been known to us from other drones’ scraps. The useful information we obtained from the interaction was: a) The ability of the drones to modulate human voices with high precision and to translate languages; b) The drone was constantly exchanging data with some object in Omicron Kappa. We assumed it was the AI core since drones are quite simple in design and have limited capabilities outside of core’s network. Given the proximity of the signal source, the decision was made to investigate. Having reached 5K distance with planet “Gammu” we launched a few probes that, however, did not succeed in obtaining information due to unknown reasons. Aspirant Shweik suggested that it is due to AI interference. Our presence lured REDACTED specimen. Its behaviour in conjunction with the “telepathy” messages created impression of some form of an “agreement” between the AI and REDACTED. The REDACTED showed inquisitive behaviour and upon failing to learn about our intentions turned aggressive and managed to heavily damage “Revolution” bomber of Gennadiy Belov. He managed to eject later on to be picked up by Sn. Lieutenant Vaska. After this, the AI turned aggressive against us and stroke down Major Grachov who also was picked down by comrade Vaska. In attempt to save the situation, the rest of the forces that were en route to Omicron Theta returned and destroyed AI major node equivalent to cruiser by ship classification. The scraps were picked up by CPRV “Kardashev”. The remaining forces successfully made it to Kamchatka station and secured the obtained data. Overall, we believe that despite previous peacefulness during the negotiation showed by the AI, it is most probably at least “alerted” as to SCEC an Coalition overall. However, the scraps picked up might prove to be crucial in term of reverse-engineering and augmenting “Nastya” AI of our own. ADDITIONAL NOTES Throughout the expedition, SCEC and Militsiya forces showed lack of coordination to act in combat as a single fleet as indicated in the report to SCRA by Sn. Lieutenant Vaska [1] [2]. Be it inexperience or insubordination, we need to take measures to tackle the issue. Therefore, due to the experience of comrade Vladislav Vaska, we request his temporary appointment to SCEC for the purpose of tactics and military training for SCEC. Also, now-Major Grachov showed some out-of-place attitude while on negotiations, therefore a briefing on first contact protocols will be held with him. I believe, comrade High Commissar, that obtained samples can indirectly assist us with project “Tselina” as well as to push forward our agenda. Despite the loses, we secured the location of strategically important iridium and will be ready to dispatch salvage teams to obtain more, should need arise. Hail the Unity of Our People! With respect, SCEC CRO Dr. Mstislav Belov END OF REPORT RE: Sirius Coalition Expeditionary Corps|SCEC - Communication Channel - LaWey - 03-08-2018 ![]() ![]() TO: HCSTA High Commissar Alexey Novikov FROM: Aspirant Anton Shweik RE: "Baikal" project ![]() SCEC secretariat reports about current status of Plesetsk. Station was enlarged and fortification is done. With helps of Blood Dragons[1] and some sympathizers Junkers, Coalition transports finished all deliveries right before main assaults. In harsh conditions, SCRA and militsiya forces stand for Coalition ideals in Omega-55, and due their resistance Plesetsk still alive.
While they fights, SCEC engineers will do further improvements of station. Our volunteer's repair teams suffered due harsh environment of Estergebirge radioactive ring. Plesetsk now improper for long-time living and sensitive researches. According to our data, Gallia produce "Ultralloy" with needed characteristics of radiation shielding. For starting works on improvements of live-quarters and create cleanrooms needed deliver 10.000 of Ultralloy. Our agents can bribe some functioners in Gallia if needed. END OF COMMUNIQUE
![]() RE: Sirius Coalition Expeditionary Corps|SCEC - Communication Channel - SCEC - 03-15-2018 ![]() HCSTA REPORT #825-007 ![]() FROM: SCEC CRO Dr. Mstislav Belov RE: Expedition to omicron Alpha & Beta Comrade High Commissar, The crew of “Kardashev” salutes you as one! Hereby we present you the report on our recent expedition to Omicron Alpha & Beta. REPORT SUMMARY “Bystrina” expedition alongside Militsiya forces carried out a swift recon mission to Omicron Alpha and Beta for the purpose of updating the maps of the systems, collecting intelligence and studying points of research interest. Throughout the expedition our “Sipukha” agent Major Grachov managed to circumvent Outcasts’ comm channels to extract some intel of no particular interest. We also managed to spot the source of cryo organisms in Omicron Beta and get samples of liquid cardamine that might be beneficial for “Tselina” project. In Omicron Epsilon and Tohoku systems we spotted asteroids of natural origin that seem to be remains of what used to be a moon or a planet that was destroyed 100-200 million years ago under unknown circumstances. We also spotted a base of REDACTED in Omicron Epsilon system. All ships returned safe to Omega 55 system afterwards. COURSE OF ACTION Forces Deployed: SCEC:
ITINERARY: Omega 55 -> Omicron Theta -> Sigma 17 -> Sigma 19 -> Omicron Beta -> Omicron Alpha ITINERARY ON RETURNING: Omicron Alpha -> Omicron Beta -> Omicron Epsilon -> Tohoku -> Okinawa -> Sigma 59 -> Omicron Sigma -> Omicron Minor -> Omicron Delta -> Omicron Kappa -> Omicron Theta -> Omega 55 The route to Omicron Alpha was without major incidents. In Sigma 17 we became witnesses to a clash between GMG vessel and Corsairs. We decided not to interfere and to carry on. In Omicron Beta we studied planet Elysium, that proved to be useless for our goals. The firewall of neighbouring Outasts’ Galicia facility was circumvented by Major Grachov. However, out of Outcasts’ banter we could not extract valuable information except for the location of cry organisms’ collecting spot. “Kuzma-2” conducted a recon sweep and obtained the necessary samples for the further study. The pilot also obtained liquid cardamine, that might prove to be useful in the future research. We then proceeded to Omicron Alpha system, where we updated the map info. We visited the wreckage of “Hispania” to pay tribute to brave Coalitioners through whom the great Communistic idea was transferred to Sirius sector. We safely reached Omicron Epsilon system that was obviously under control of the Order. We spotted a few major facilities of theirs, including Carthage Shipyard. It is in this system where we found peculiar asteroid formations that are presumed to be remains of a celestial object of moon or planetoid class. The radio-carbon analysis indicated that the catastrophe that caused the demise of the object mentioned happened between 100 and 200 million years ago. This is very recently by cosmic standards. The patterns of tectonic fractures indicate that the crack happened due to a massive strike from outside, not from inside of planetary core. Thus, we assume there might be three hypotheses:
Our team also spotted a lair of REDACTED in 2C quadrant. The base was not affected by any of our weaponry, including the heavy ones. The base also used sphere-shaped glowing objects that were emitting waves similar to our generators. We assume, these are REDACTED primary source of energy on their facilities, since when we started shooting at them the power from the guns defending the lair was diverted. In case of contacts with such objects, extreme caution is highly advised. In the system of Tohoku we spotted the same asteroid-remains of an unknown celestial object with similar time of destruction. The proximity of the systems and similarity of the patterns contribute to hypothesis 3. Our team also found the facility “Heaven’s Gate” that we read about in the reports on “Nomad Wars” of the Order and other factions. In Sigma 59 we spotted GMG giant space station “Niigata Space City”. Our particular attention was drawn to solar panels used for harvesting solar energy from the nearest star. We scanned the structure thereof and believe, we can reverse-engineer them for the use of the Coalition. Afterwards, the forces returned safely to Omega 55 system. FURTHER RESEARCH NOTES & CONCLUSIONS
Although the expedition did not contribute significantly to “Renegade” and “Tselina” projects, the overall data collected enlarge our database and constitute value as a basis for future research. ![]() RE: Sirius Coalition Expeditionary Corps|SCEC - Communication Channel - Chronicron - 03-23-2018 Reconnaisance Report - Edge Worlds Survey
![]() ![]() To: HCSTA Commissar Alexey Novikov WARNING: REPORT CONTAINS "TOP SECRET" GRADE MATERIAL! SHARE WITH AUTHORISED PERSONNEL ONLY! This report contains details on surveys in systems Omicron Phi and, partially, Omicron Alpha. In my trip to the Edge Worlds, I've been acompanied by aspirant Shweik to record all the details. In Omicron Alpha's Edge Nebula, we've found an Earth-like world, which is not suitable for settlement due to the natural factors - local flora and fauna appear to be contain some kind of poison. The reason is unknown. What was more peculiar is an unstable jump-hole, surrounded by the wrecks of supposedly maltese origin. Then we headed to Omicron Phi system. As aspirant Shweik noticed, local black hole is imitting a lot of Y-radiation, so there was no practical use of launching a probe at it. However, what was more interesting is the facility inside the planetoid. It's either owned or related to Maltese in one way or another, because we've also noticed a stationary Ranseur guarding it. On the other hand, we've also encountered a so-called "Baxter Anomaly" in this system's Edge Nebula. Considering the wrecks of an installation surrounding it, I assumed that something must have destroyed it. And soon we've found an answer for my theory. An another unstable jumphole, which lead directly into nowhere. A desolated system somewhere on the further side of our sector. I can only assume what habitats this system, but considering the consturctions of alien origin in the dark nebula, there can be no doubt that there can be a presense of [REDACTED] in this system. I can only advise a complete survey of this and nearby systems and keep everything under the "Top Secret" stamp. Attachments - Recordings - [1] End of the report

![]() ![]() To: HCSTA Commissar Alexey Novikov On my daily patrol in Omicrons, I've stumbled upon an installation within the perimiter of the No-Fire Zone and on the orbit of Planet Tirane. RE: Sirius Coalition Expeditionary Corps|SCEC - Communication Channel - SCEC - 04-03-2018 ![]() HCSTA REPORT SUMMARY #825-008 ![]() FROM: SCEC CRO Dr. Mstislav Belov RE: Expedition to omicron Alpha & Beta Comrade High Commissar, The crew of “Kardashev” salutes you as one! The last few weeks were busy for SCEC and thus I deem it appropriate to provide a brief summary of the events in this single report. Case 1. Location – Sigma 59 First of all, our forces received reports on suspicious activities in Omicrons and Sigmas recently and we decided to investigate. In Sigma 59 we found two ships with unknown IFF fighting a Core capital vessel. Having eliminated one, the Core vessel with significant damage sustained withdrew, while we pursued the second vessel. It turned out to be a standard transport, yet its hull was fortified with unknown materials and the equipment was of the best quality. With difficulty, we managed to put it down, two our vessels having sustained critical damage. The risk was justified, as we picked up samples of unique equipment and tailored it to use on allied “Tempest” class carriers. We also discovered, that the vessel in question was an automatic drone. The salvaged remains were secured and will surely benefit Aspirant Shweik’s research on robotic software and hardware. Pic.1 Obtained equipment and remains
![]() Case 2. Location – Omicron Delta On direct orders of comrade Premiere Mehmed Selim, SCEC forces joined our glorious SCRA and Order allies in a valiant attempt to restore peace and balance for the free Zoners of Freeport 11. An illegal installation “Freeport 11.5” was erected in dangerous vicinity to Freeport 11 and the decision was made to dismantle it. However, the SCEC primary gains in the operation were obtaining remains of three big REDACTED specimen, classified in Order documents as “Marduk” and “Void Archon”. Appearing from nowhere (cloaking device was most probably used), the specimen attacked our formations resulting in a few ships sustaining critical damage. However, our forces were enough to eradicate the threat. Having dealt with the REDACTED, we picked the remains and successfully finished the siege. The remains were delivered to Plesetsk facility. Case 3. Location – Omicron Minor, Omicron Iota The most recent development was our follow-up survey of a jumpgate of unknown origin located in Omicron Minor system that has been thoroughly described in our previous report. Our regular follow up survey was interrupted by a civilian vessel under Freelancer IFF. Major Grachov did not believe the pilot that the latter was just exploring the area, since the statistical chance of meeting a civilian vessel in this remote area is miniscule. We concurred. Feeling threatened, the ship successfully used and passed the gates, proving the point that human-made ships can pass REDACTED jumpgates. The decision was made to launch probes first, and then to send our snub vessels in. We successfully passed through and observed specular sight: a whole system of REDACTED with seemingly functioning REDACTED tradelanes, the derelict versions of which we previously observed in Omicron Minor system. The entrance to the system is heavily guarded by automatic weapon platforms that inhibit ship’s capability to cruise. Realising our small forces to venture forth, we collected as much information as was possible, in particularly we studied a gas giant in proximity to the jumpgates and found high concentration of “Azurite” in the upper layers of its atmosphere. Having retrieved the probe, we returned to Omicron Minor and headed back to Omega 55 system. At some point we realised we were being spied on: we were picking intensive radio interferences as well as feeling sudden headache as during the previous encounters with REDACTED specimen. Thus, the snub vessels were sent to serve as rearguards while “Kardashev” could secure the finding of the mission safely. To my regret, we lost all of the snub vessels in a fight against unknown specimen. “Kardashev” had no visual contact with the foe, and the reports from the snubs were limited. As of now, we are sure that Major Grachov and Lieutenant Gennadiy Belov were picked up by an Order patrol in Sigma 17 system. However, the pilot of Kuzma-2 in a valiant attempt to save his comrades launched a suicide attack in which he was killed. The gramota and financial support to his family are to be issued by HCSTA late on in a separate document. The data were successfully secured at Plesetsk. FURTHER RESEARCH NOTES: The further research provides a full-scaled expedition to Omicron Iota in the future, possibly with Order allied vessels and Zoner pathfinders. The detailed scientific observations as to the events reported on are to be sent to you in details, should you request so. Hail the Unity of Our People! With respect, SCEC CRO Dr. Mstislav Belov END OF REPORT RE: Sirius Coalition Expeditionary Corps|SCEC - Communication Channel - LaWey - 04-05-2018 ![]() ![]() TO: SCEC FROM: Aspirant Anton Shweik RE: Sentient machines activity in Omega-55 ![]() During the courier flight through Omega-55 I encountered 3 sentient drones. Machines started communicate with me. Seems like they begin active study of human psychic. In this conversation they are decided attack my fighter for testing human in stress situation. In fight I destroyed one drone and tractored saved parts in Sichel cargohold. After appearing unknown fighters, which attacked drones, I decided not take more risk and use this mess for leaving combat and headed on Plesetsk.
Due arriving of unexpected help, I don't know, maybe they wanted stop their attack after taking results. But, we never leave nomads alive after studying, right? I don't want be subject of this kind of experiments myself. Think, our forces should investigate machines intentions more.
