Did you think of the Rhein Pie-rat cruiser? It is a junker ship and kinda civilianish.

Story goes it is a re-assembled hessian cruiser that was taken out or surplused by the hessians and rebuilt by the junkers. It is a bit smaller and less armed then the HC but manuvers well and is well balenced. I think it is close to the tarlc cruiser in balence.
Not a bad looking ship either. I like em'.

Still, I wouldn't have thought the Rhienland Pirate Cruiser would have much scope when it comes to liberty. Well, unless you were to have a Junker guard style character who was based out of Rochester.

Just a suggestion for a fairly non PVP ship. I think because it is a junker ship, you should be clear around liberty. I have seen a couple in the area in the past year and they don't get harrassed by the locals too much.

Huntress? I always reckoned it could go pretty much anywhere depending of course, what affiliation you take.
I think you can buy it as;
-order - anywhere or so, if you have a minimal decent rp reason
-zoner - pretty much anywhere...
-corsair - bretonia, kusari, omegas, omicrons and sigmas

If you go Corsair, there's always Bretonia. It'd be nice to get an RP-oriented 'sair out there for once. The BAF were mighty active last time I checked, and we get decent traffic through some systems now.

I hear the folks in Omega 58 are talkative, although you might need something stronger then a cruiser to survive.
if you go huntress, don't expect the OCs to be friendly.
