Owning space on habitable planets should be the ultimate sign of wealth and power. Minerals and most materials can be found everywhere in space (just some are closer to habitable planets) and ships can be built from those materials with robots.

Good in. Really, not much factions have good planets to habit. Devastating wars going for them, making planets worse and ruined. So think, villa on Gran Canaria or somewhere else should be good sign for that.
