RE: The Black Flag Alehouse, Planet Sprague - All Welcome! - TheBadPandaMan - 06-11-2018 ![]() RE: The Black Flag Alehouse, Planet Sprague - All Welcome! - Stefan - 06-11-2018 With the place buzzing up, Hex couldn't shake the frontier vibe* the place was giving - he was already wondering how many carried heat and where would he more likely find a double-cylinder when the green eyed maid brought his order. At least service was good. - "Thank you." Shaking thoughts out of his mind, he slid a credstick over the table. It had more than enough for the bottle, the coffee and a decent tip for her. As the top of the gin bottle went off, serving himself a decent dose, he heard the complicated order come up by his side. - "Can't say I heard that one before." - He said to the man lighting up the cigarette, not turning face. Then the gin went down, burning. RE: The Black Flag Alehouse, Planet Sprague - All Welcome! - Cat - 06-11-2018 Lynn Archer, Barmaid Lynn accepted the credstick with a slight smile and a nod. As she heard the other customer's request for a smile, she obliged, but didn't say anything else. Shortly afterwards she lowered her gaze to under the counter. With all orders fulfilled for the time being, she picked up the glasses and started rubbing them with a rag. She'd keep herself occupied until a new order comes in or she'd be addressed. RE: The Black Flag Alehouse, Planet Sprague - All Welcome! - TheBadPandaMan - 06-11-2018 ![]() RE: The Black Flag Alehouse, Planet Sprague - All Welcome! - Stefan - 06-12-2018 He wasn't sure why the snarky remark, but grabbed a few grains of coffee and tossed in his mouth nevertheless. As he munched on them, the scent and strong taste took away the smell whatever bleach the blond lad - presumably - drank had. - "I guessed as much." - He was looking at the green eyes behind the counter. - "Not from around'ere I assume." - He wanted to sound ambiguous. RE: The Black Flag Alehouse, Planet Sprague - All Welcome! - TheBadPandaMan - 06-12-2018 ![]() RE: The Black Flag Alehouse, Planet Sprague - All Welcome! - Ellie Hardy - 06-12-2018 Planet Sprague, Ellie Hardy Ellie just nodded, this guy seemed to be interesting after all. "Actually, if your profit isn't providing you with fun, then you actually waste pretty much most of your life." she said. He seemed to be interested, that's a good point in ongoing conversation, if you want to keep it, she thought. "Texas, yeah, sweet Texas. I am not the one who would stay in one place for way too long. I prefer moving around, looking for work... But not usual work, something special and interesting while I keep my neutral profile. Omegas happen to be my actual place where I am looking for some 'PROFIT', if you know what I mean. Not so legal course of action." Ellie liked to keep things calm and share her doing in a mysterious way, never admitting who she truly is. RE: The Black Flag Alehouse, Planet Sprague - All Welcome! - Cat - 06-12-2018 Julian Grayson "Well, that's something to drink to," Julian replied, referring to Ellie's first statement. "So, to having fun in life?" he raised his glass, waiting a bit if Ellie would do the same, but he'd take a short sip regardless of the outcome. Having listened to the woman's comment about her business in the Omegas, Julian nodded. The Junker had a way to say things without revealing too much, so he adopted that approach too. "I think I know what you mean. I probably don't move around as much as you do, but I have my 'money hubs' as well." He paused and tilted his head, thinking for a moment. "You know, what's-illegal-in-one-system-is-encouraged-in-another sort of thing." RE: The Black Flag Alehouse, Planet Sprague - All Welcome! - Cat - 06-12-2018 Lynn Archer, Barmaid Upon hearing the guest's complaint about the smell, Lynn remembered that the open bottle of Gundey VIII was still on the counter. She and some other people probably didn't pay attention because they had got used to it by now. At least Lynn did get used to it, and it was the most plausible explanation. "Sorry, one of the guests ordered it, and I forgot to put back the cork," with that said, the barmaid hurried to do just that, hiding the bottle below the counter as well, seeing how the blondie who ordered the drink was now chatting with the Junker. "It's the strongest thing we have," she replied with a faint smile, which eclipsed the disgusted expression on her face while she was dealing with the bottle. RE: The Black Flag Alehouse, Planet Sprague - All Welcome! - Stefan - 06-12-2018 Hex followed her as she moved away towards the weird drink. He wondered what the heck went into something that smelled so foul, but decided to let the matter drop as soon as she corked it. - "Bar attraction, not a problem." - Still shaking the smell, he sat back. It was hard not being himself even when he didn't want to, but he just poured more gin. |
