So tonight I undock with my thresher at yaren. Low and behold, here's the EOG gank squad sitting 2k from the base, with a VHF 1v1ing a core bomber (ridiculous but that's at least moderately fair). As soon as I undock, I start getting hit with cruise disruptors from an EOG bomber, Apep, who is then told to stand down by the EOG cruiser Ptah so that he and I can have a 1v1 (which I'm fine with, earlier today we were told by nordwind that EOG planned to start playing fair and try to redeem their lolwutting image). Seconds after that engagement begins, Ptah tells Apep to engage, and suddenly it's a 2v1, with a resheph and bomber going after my thresher. So much for fair play.

Call them out on it afterwards, usual deflection.

I refuse to participate in any kind of RP or PvP with the EOG anymore, and I've recommended the same from all Core, Order, and Nomad factions. If this is the kind of behavior we're to expect from you, then you might as well not exist in our eyes. I said it before, EOG is a joke, and despite the 'reassurances' of your leader, they remain a joke. I pity nordwind for the kind of people he's having to deal with in his faction, I suspect it wont last long.

I haven't had an encounter with your faction so far, but from what I can read in here you should really work on your attitude.
Don't try to defend yourself so much Chio, it only makes it look worse. Take the criticism, talk to your members, do it again.
"Gank for Gank" is fine, but then expect to be ganked as well!

I wasnt present for either of those, and as much as we'd like to claim it we have no control over indy core players - though I will note that the few times we have had overwhelming numbers, the indie DO listen to core| when told to hold back and even the odds.

I'm not in EOG, but i'm in there discord, i've seen how they speak and how they play ingame, and honestly they are playing with the same tactic's as Core play, Core like to play the let's all log and target one ship and kill it before reinforcements can come and make a decent fight, i've video evidence of a whole fleet taking my ship out with ZERO RP also, Tenacity, it appears you just need to go for a sandwich break mate, like they are playing the same way people play against them and now you are making them look like lolwuts? Like dude, what's you're issue?

By the time I arrived to that fight I tried to balance it as best as I could. I'm pretty sure that in the end it was just a single Mako and a BC shooting you guys. And the Sarissa just sort of gave up when it was only me (on a BC) shooting it at one point. This was a while ago so I really can't remember it in detail, but I'm fairly sure all the ships present didn't pile on you (and in the screenshots you can see only me and Artemis shooting you, and only me shooting the Sarissa in the last one). Also the Storta got away and abandoned the Sarissa to die.

But yeah this should really be for our feedback, not EOGs.

We've already debated that 'video' and told you why it's nonsense thanks to further evidence Implo provided.

This is my issue:

Their leader (nordwind) told us (core|) in our discord that they were going to try and start acting like a more respectable faction, stopping the lolwutting "RP" posts about bombarding npc stations/planets, and start trying to organize more fair fights.

The resheph in this situation (ptah), led me to believe that he wanted a 1v1 engagement, and based on what nordwind had said previously in our discord, I was inclined to believe them.

As soon as the fight starts (20 seconds in), the resheph tells the bomber to get involved, turning an otherwise 'fair' 1v1 (which was proposed by them in chat) into a gank.

So you can understand why I'm pissed, and given that this kind of shit has been happening with EOG for the past 1-2 weeks and all they've done is trash the Core| feedback and insult/harass everyone they interact with, I'm sure you'll agree that they deserve no better.

But i'm being the neutral party here by not being in either faction, or in that fact only got 1 Core/Order ship being my SRP, But from my point of view with Core, they tend to log in mass to deal with 1 - 2 or potentially 3 ships, and they will fly away restock, repair and come back, in large numbers, while Order factions alone are unable to provide large numbers unless it's similar to the CR getting mass numbers with that event, it was a struggle. So yes I dislike Core due to this behaviour, and I can completely understand why EOG, Order and other Order factions/player's gank Core ships in return, because they've had enough of it.

But now going at EOG, and other Order factions, they do need to do more RP before fighting and with others then just there self, and isntead of constantly chase a single ship in battleships, why not switch to fighters, bombers, gunboats or even cruisers, stop flying Osiris and fly other ships.

Also regarding a 1 v 1 (Cruiser vs Cruiser) with 1 of them having a bomber, that is not a gank lol, that is a challenge, you can easily deal with a cruiser and bomber if you know what you are doing.

As much as I appreciate you waltzing through and showing your input (I really don't) this only happened because you 2 decided to engage 2 bombers at Yaren with your capital ships. We backed off and waited for support that was coming from Minor as far as I remember.

Feedback thread

Thank you all for your feedback comments. We've read all of your comments and we are really surprised how things escalated quick leading it to serious hatred-spreading which later evolves into serious ooRP insults and others. This is just a game and it's common for people to get ounumbered and outgunned. These things can't get fixed that easy and we're doing our best to prevent that. These things don't impact the server rules, allowing people to do whatever they want with their opponent. Everyone of us had his ups and dows, returning the fire back with larger number of ships and other. We're trying to work on our roleplay as well, since Player versus Player is not the only thing that matters. If people can't take all of this, we recommend on telling us how to fix these mistakes, thus not answering this feedback aggressively. We all want good in our future so make it a good future for everyone else. We will do our best to prevent these conflicts which people don't like. Thank you.
