Got attacked by a Xeno ID'd player today who refused to allow me to carry lane/gate parts. He stated he's heard nothing about any event and only Ageira are allowed to carry the parts. My Cryer ID seemed to enrage him further and he stammered something about Liberty not being allowed there. So I'm done and going back to hauling rubber dog-turds from Pennsylvania to Alberta. Ageira White Boxes are restricted commodity that you can only obtain with Ageira, DSE or Universal IDs right now. I think you are confusing what you were carrying.

No I was carrying the parts for the docking ring construction at Planet Kurile. Pretty sure I know what I was carrying. I think HE was the confused one.

So it was Docking Ring Parts and not "lane/gate parts". When I requested the event, I did ask or Docking Ring Components name, so it is further away from previous commodity names. It is a shame that you were pirated, but it happens. Xenos cannot demand money and they might think that Cryer is no longer proper Libertonian company so it led to events as you described. Not a gamebreaking thing but it's was your choice to give up and go back to ore business.

Yeah it wasn't a deal-breaker for me. Old mate seemed really offended because I was "lying to him" about the event, apparently. No biggie. I don't mind being pirated occasionally. Hell I've had some really good interactions with some pirates on occasion. So yeah I went back to my usual haunts rather than antagonise the guy any further. One of the 'good' things about being on the wrong side of the planet from the server is that there are usually fewer players on when I am so I have less people to offend. The lag is a pain though lol.

I was "pirated" persay by a Alliance player who actually just convinced my char to stop bringing the docking parts to Kurile for moral reasons. Fun RP there (It was a good argument)

Event is concluded. I'll keep the prices in for a while so people can get rid of their cargo.
I'll not post any results. Since a pob was involved as an ending point I'd have to calculate everyone's contributions and I won't do that.
