RE: Free Signatures. Come forth! - evanz - 04-10-2019 11: sometimes what you think is perfect is not what the person requesting a job looks perfect, so, create a folder, with that persons name and project save each version as a seperate filename, eg banner1, banner2 etc sometimes someone will say, "thinking about it i actually prefer the previous version you did now" so at least you can easily load it back it (ive had stuff ive worked on that even after 15+ changes, they wanted one of the 1st, imagine doing so many changes on a file, if they want that and you dont have an option to revert back!!) Tip that helps me: before start to create anything - try to learn as much as possible about the character for whom You create the signature - in order make it more personal. If you have any character picture - try to check is there any other pictures of that person - maybe more suitable for your vision. Also try to arrange it in the final art - eg if the light is from the right then try to use some background where light source is also on the right side. Character picture have red glow? then try to find suitable redish background. RE: Free Signatures. Come forth! - evanz - 04-10-2019 Ask the person, couple of start things, as in, what colour scheme they want, do they have a character picture they want, do they want a certain style/effect, do they need a ship in it (myself I render a ship to fit) Sometimes, a style idea they want and something they originally wanted, you might make something and they say, “oh wow that looks better” There’s a lot of good tips in the thread, perhaps it should be pinned?
