Sorry but it's my thread of every second month where I tell people to fly snubs instead of caps.
I'd be intruiged to see a cap version but I'm just not motivated to do one myself as firstly balancing between caps is a bit messier, secondly I'm just not all that interested in flying them and thirdly snubs are easier for people to sign up with. You're free to make a cap version if you like, you can use my event template/resources as well if you require them.

I don't use my main acc on my phone, mostly because my password is so complex I don't have it memorized.
I'm asking if I need to volunteer. Typically you go to the staff and ask them to enable respawns and not just say its happening. If a staff member can't be present at the time of the event, we can't do it.

I started doing Respawn events several years ago before they picked up in the mainstream and had or required staff involvement (I'd just yell in system chat when respawns were over and communicate with players). A volunteer wouldn't hurt, but it's not necessary and I'd rather have participants (you) than spectators. We can fling our FRs at people who misbehave after all.

I'm genuinely shocked that you managed to do that and not get sanctioned. I can't think of a single instance of that in history.
Anyway I suppose I don't really need to be on a staff ship in order to do that, but I think I have plans Saturday. Planting millet to brew with actually. I'll dump this in the GM chat and see if anyone can be around for it, and I'll sign up myself if I can.
