Why would GC even go there? There is nothing interesting in it for Kusari terrorists. LR/LH/Xenos make more sense honestly.

So I want to re-iterate that ZoI is a zone where a faction can initiate PvP. Lack of ZoI in a system does not mean a faction cannot go there, or cannot be engaged by other people.
In regards to the GC having Laptev ZoI, I can't imagine why most factions wouldn't want more ZoI, especially in a previously undiscovered system. It would make more sense for them to be uninterested once the hype has died down and it's discovered there's nothing for them there.
As or whether or not they feasibly could - with the Lane Hackers and Rogues both based out of Galileo, close allies of the GC, why the hell not?

Note that I never said I actually want ZoI there. We only RP around the system right now and I noticed that currently most IDs dont allow PVP, the very thing the system is designed for.
InRP we are curious about the new anomaly and are on guard for possible hostiles coming through. We investigate if we can use for possible cardamine smuggling towards Rheinland.
As I stated in the opening post. I am asking for all factions, not just GC.

In retort to your statement, I am opposing it on the grounds of territory and I believe it should only be for the factions who's ZOI surround it.
