Miss Greenwell,
It is a pleasure having you in our small organisation. We are slowly growing, and we are very happy that you chose to be part of this organisation.
You do not have to worry at the moment, we an either acquire a new vessel or either build a new one for you.
However at the moment we are spread very thin, as we have projects going on, for the moment a mobile laboratory is not something we can organize, but we can obviously can give you a laboratory on Ames Research Station where you can lead your research and your work.
You'll obviously have the assistance of all the GRG personel of the base, and we'll do our best to aid you where is needed.

The product is now able to get into mass production, and the refitting process of the ships will become faster and faster as the days pass.

CEO Martin Lawrence,
I come to you with disturbing news. I have to report that upon my arrival at Freeport 5, the station's health is at a critical tipping point. Each and every person aboard this station has been exposed to radiation and are showing minor symptoms. I will request the appropriate aid immediately.

With this I also bring news about the station's integrity and shielding. The station's structure is decaying. Slowly but surely it will fail. More importantly, the shielding aboard has succumbed to extensive radiation damage and will need to be replaced. At its current level, radiation penetration is near if not more 50%.

Defense systems are the least of my concern, however I must mention that with the current shield status - and though weapon systems are still functional they are failing. I will be placing a team of fighters on standby if any issues arise.

Summary:

Station health is at a critical point. -- PRIORITY
Station structure is decaying and needs maintenance. -- SECONDARY
Station shielding is failing, 50% penetration rate from radiation. -- SECONDARY
Station defenses are failing, though functional at this time. -- SECONDARY

Despite my current situation aboard Freeport 5, You've asked me to send a research vessel to the anomaly in omega-5. Though difficult, and a distraction of my time - I have managed to get a small team of scientists aboard a Civilian Deep Space Explorer, known as the "Spatial" under the name "GRG|Tyche". They know the liability of going into the unknown and are on their way to the anomaly. I've equipped them the best that I can from where I am. Research equipment, mining equipment, food and supplies. I only hope I haven't invested into their graves.. They'll be there soon.

It was a good while that I lost communication with them.. But thank god they came back.
You will find included with this message Nav Maps. These nav maps have been color coded and recorded by the GRG Tyche.

While not being the first ones there exploring the uncharted system, we came across a resource known as Narcrahtite.

Now, I've never heard of this but supposedly this resource has been discovered before. In fact, according to my team - Corinth Research Station in the Omicron Kappa is paying huge amounts for it. I did some digging and this is what I found on it.

“Following the first attempts to scout out the Uncharted systems, one of the many fields yielded an unusual find by the prospectors in search for minable resources. "Narcrahtite" being the temporary name given to the crystalline formations found in some of the larger rocky debris near the "center" of the system were not only quickly marked as highly valuable, but also - after the first spectrometer readings came in - a mystery.

The material was described as "artificial" in nature, unlike the asteroid belt it was found in. The material is also highly delicate and the current excavation technology is not adapt enough yet to yield the best results as the mining lasers often end up damaging the delicate material beyond salvage.„

What do you know about this sir? Should I send a team immediately to acquire a larger quantity?

I know the current situation of Freeport 5, but this came something as expected.
All logistic vessels in the area will be assigned ASAP to be extracting and transporting Narcrahtite. Delivery point will be Freeport 5 and the Armored Transport units will be delivering them to Ames Research Station ASAP.
Hopefully we can also improve Freeport 5's status and to take care of his inhabitants.

I hope the holidays have been good to you and your family, but work never ends for us! I'm here to inform you of FP5's current status.
Med Force

I've reached out to Med Force, and received a response from Med Force Two. No relief effort has reached the open dock I've left open for them - at this current time. Hopefully they or whom ever is to help aid our situation will be here soon.

Stations Integrity

As I stated in my first report, the stations structure is decaying and shielding against the radiation is failing. - For that, I've mandated a station wide emergency - despite health issues, for all hands that can hold a tool, or use their brain - to repairing these issues. But be assured, I am not working them to their bones. They work on a normal schedule however focused on the station. They are also receiving double the food rations for their efforts as well.

Additionally, I am requesting delivery of the following. -We will be using Iridium to plate the structure.

40,000u Iridium
25,000u Hull Segments
25,000u Reinforced Alloy
5,000u Industrial Materials
10,000u Energy Field Equipment
10,000u Magnetic Superconductors
10,000u Fusion Diodes

Narcrahtite

It's been difficult to accommodate the large quantities of Narcrahtite, with it taking up almost all the available space in hanger 1 - secured in their containers. But it's mystery is absolutely fascinating and alluring. I hope we can find out how it was created and what its potential uses could be.

Best wishes to you and your family on this day. The crew aboard were given 16 hours off for this day, though with some complaint they understand our needs.

An additional request - Discussion with my team has concluded and with the suggestion from Med Force, I would like to implement a rotation of crew member's from Freeport 5 to Ames Research Station on a quarterly rotation.

Freeport 5 in a way is not in a very good position, and hopefully we manage to adjust it to our best possibilities.
Your project list and your necessities for the outpost therefore have been approved, effect immediate.
If you need anything else, we will aid in all ways possible.

On the other hand, and this interests you Mr. Mortar as well,
One of our pilots, apparently ended up in the Gallic Sector. At the moment he's scouting what he can, and gathering all the information possible,included, a "friend" of his apparently donated a vessel to the Genesis, and it'll be dropped off to Freeport 5.
Mr. Mortar, you can send the vessel to Ames, so we take care of it here.
He sent us the logs of his vessel.
