I have a friend here who was born in Russia. He told me that a temperature of -10 degrees celcius was common during the winter (even lower).
Here in Buenos Aires, the temperature never drops from -2C.

We here in Indiana have just gotten our first cold day since summer. This is the first day it has been below 75 degrees

Yep Russia is the cold bear of Asia.Here in Bulgaria temperatures vary from up to 40 degrees celsius in July to -5, -15 in January. But still (like a kid born in December) i like it that way(actually i hate it when its hot).

Weather randomly changes here in Indiana it would drive you crazy. We wouldn't be supprised to see snow right now.

Here in Buenos Aires, the weather is getting warmer every year. 10 years ago, the lowest temperature was arround -8C, and the warmest arround 38C. And when i get up early in the morning, the water outside my house was frost. but now, the lowest temp is -1C and, in the summer, sometimes goes as high as 45C.
