I generally think that having higher risks that you have to take when dying is a great idea, especially dying in a cap should feel like more than "oh whatever I'll go back in an hour"
On the other side, people already are afraid of dying right now when it doesn't even matter so this would probably never work with the current Community

You have to pay
You have no money
You make mining or trading to get them fast
You get robbered by pirates
Pirates get hunted by police
You obtain big guns
You die
It's simple.

Hell no, I didn't spend days of real life time trading to get enough money for a cap to get blown up in less than 1 minute during it's first fight because of a lag spike and lose it permanently. If you want to play that way, delete your char upon death but leave us to play on our own terms.

The gameplay loop, if it truly exists at all, is not built for this kind of thing.
