A very unpopular poll - zeinstruktor - 03-11-2009 The past month I've had a constant 3-5% loss... Not .85 related at all. And whoever I /pingtarget is getting it as well. So it must be the server. A very unpopular poll - atm999 - 03-12-2009 Like you said, this would not be popular, but I think lowering the limit just slightly, to say 185 for 190, would not kick off anyone during non-peak times and would do wonders for stability. Please don't flame me, but as a CE major I can jouch for the help this would provide! A very unpopular poll - Xoria - 03-12-2009 My ping is twice yours Fletcher, and I have no problems. Your internet connection or PC probably have far more to do with it than the player cap. It's not the server, it's your connection and equipment. A very unpopular poll - Fletcher - 03-12-2009 Hmm the purpose of this thread is served. Its not going to happen. I will do a thorough check through my connections and pester my ISP. <strike>If possible, lock this place.</strike> Hold on that, lets sort of move on to possible connection things. EDIT: I've made a thread here: http://discoverygc.com/forums/index.php?ac...t=0#entry524687 A very unpopular poll - swift - 03-12-2009 But since we're on topic of connection issues. Please tell me, when someone has packet loss, is it possible it's the server fault, or is it always the connections' fault? I ask cause I've been having 3-6% loss the last month, and don't know why. A very unpopular poll - zeinstruktor - 03-12-2009 Same here Swift... I saw many more with the same problem, so I assumed it was the server. |
