Why is Matsumoto, a vessel designed specifically for securing positions with its strike craft, spearheading the attack on Lorraine? All the while Hamamatsu, the most advanced battleship in KNF geared towards aggressive frontline warfare "further from home", is guarding Tau-53? Shouldn't their roles be switched?

The Matsumoto was closer, and had a head start. Plus, Matsumoto was perfect for gaining a foothold in the highly developed system of Lorraine. Hamamatsu was designed for the war in mind, and is faster than Matsumoto, so it will eventually take over the assault.

Also this is an invasion, and Hamamatsu, and indeed Hyono, are not guarding anything; they are steaming head long into Gallia. Positions were staggered for both gameplay reasons and also because Hamamatsu and Hyono started further behind, and if they immediately caught up to the vanguard that would make it seem like this attack is not a blitz, with the front ships waiting before they move.

Engaged with Ayane.Takeuchi in a 1v1, had some good fun, but at the end I was trying to mine them and ended up killing myself. Point to that pilot please.

I also accidentally blew myself up in a skirmish earlier on the character Kazuho_Tezuka. I apologize for that and it should be another point for Gallia.

Teamkills/selfkills are logged and they lose 5m, you don't need to post them.

I did a quick count of the kills. In less than a week there has been;

151 kills for Gallia, and
72 kills for Kusari.

There is a separate tracker for team kills, including suicides, which is not included in the above.

223 deaths is a very high number for such a short period, so this event is proving very popular.

The higher kill count for Gallia is also not discouraging the Kusari side and that is good (7:3 disparity). As mentioned in the story post, there is no impact on the storyline for having more kills and that is for the best. Go and play nice and keep the event respectful.

Also Haste has 30 kills for Gallia and is in the lead by a large margin.

That's cause Haste is filthy killstealer, stole all Vr00mke's rightful blues, can confirm, known for long.

Actually some Kusari cap guys want to stop logging, it would be nice if some Gallic players switched to Kusari side to keep things balanced and keep the event alive

Kusari keep openly logging first, don't dock in fights or when outnumbered much, even keep calling for caps to pull back when they outnumber Gallia - they play way more fair than I would against overwhelming odds, I think there should be veteran Gallic players switching sides in unbalanced fights to keep them logging
