I'm getting 3 - 17 max artifacts in the Theta cloud. I have a mining ship, Corsair ID and tag, and I'm using mining lasers. Is this normal?

Bonuses seem to be working great here. Yield more than doubled with lasers, mining ship and proper tag for where I'm mining.

I have an IMG Guard Tag and Guard ID, but shooting Niobium rocks in Tau-37 only yields 1-7 per rock.

I don't think there's any bonus tied to Guard ID's... Now that I think about it.
But if you aren't using a mining laser, ID or ship, well, those drops are probably about right to be honest.

The smelter in PR for the junkers buys all sorts of metals for a prize just a bit under 1k per unit. 800 or 900 or such, copper, gold, so on. Junkers are not only about scrap, IMHO they should get bonuses to all metals and a few of the minables that are right next to their bases: silver for example.

I'm in a mining ship, with regular tag and ID, and mining lasers and i'm getting 5x those numbers AT LEAST.

No, the laser yield bonus for each roid you shoot is determined by what gun actually shoots it. On my miner I only have 2 mining turrets, because more is a waste of potential deterrence.

Swapped to a Mining Ship last night. Drops tripled, but only due to the lazers. D:
