I for one would, it would be add a MASSIVE amount of RP for places like Gamma which are under the constant threat of intruisions by hunters, raids by outcasts and the enevitable hessian tourist.

Perhaps if it could have more liberal engaging rules with the trade off of being nearly immobile....

Sit in these for blockades and around restricted areas.

Exactly, we could station them around junp holes and important locations, they would have to be exempt from the re-engaging in 4 hours rule, seeing as they are ment ot be stationary anyway.

no they would bot be exempt. but if your opponent leaves the system. then you can come back before the 4 hours areover

But if they are guarding a jump hole or a base, it would make a lot more sense if they could move right back to where they were, especially seeing as ACTUAL weapons platforms cant be destroyed.

And than maybe a Cruiser Turret or two to mount anti-Capital Firepower?

Say what. Would be a nice, small, slow moving, not-having-too-much-firepower RP thingy.
Something like the Barge, but much much smaller and hopefully available on open market.
