I'd suggest simply teaming up with a pilot or two in Junker Bombers.

I've hardly seen any of those flying around, which is a shame as they're exceptionally lovely.

I think the .:j:. have something to say to peeps in NY who pirate on junkers or attack lawfuls, thus giving junkers a bad name.

Still , i can already see it comming. All the "2mil or dai" people in the server are gonna join the Junkers to get "the perfect pirating ship".

The perfect pirating ships are the Pirate Transport and the Slave liner. Nuff said.

Ship review and feedback: - AJBeast - 04-05-2009

Yes. A team of one of those and a bomber or 2 would be perfect.

Pirating in a Junker is tricky buisness, since most peeps have lawful alts and they will remember you when you dock on their bases. Metagaming or not, they will find a reason to ban your docking rights, even if it's "a patrol told us you were pirating" at best and at worst it will be "you were pirating. ENGAIGING"

@sindroms - shame the junker's congress has zero control over anyone not carrying their tag. Junkers are not one body, we help one another but we work on our own.

Anyways, simply add a line to the salvager infocard that says "May not demand credits during piracy". The thing is perfect as a -cargo- pirate, as it has plenty of cargo space to snatch the goods from an enemy ship while keeping them under the gun.

I've pirated plenty before with my junker (yes, in my firefly transport :D) and never had issues with that.

Besides, it's easy enough to play innocent, "What Officer? I'm just a self employed salvager trying to make a living off of your trash, do I look like a pirate to you?"

No, Salvagers should not get a CD. Team up with a bomber or a Collector.

Also, Junkers should not pirate as openly as Rogues. The "face" and public relations are too important for that.

Finally, it should not get a bonus to mine ores. Junkers collect and re-process scrap, not the raw materials.
