Colonial Diplomacy - bluntpencil2001 - 04-09-2009 ' Wrote:Honestly sounds more sour grapes than anything else. Seems like people just don't want anyone that can help Kusari in the taus. Aside from the idiociy of IMG backing Bretonia while they have a kusari bs outside their main base and the war started with kusari backing IMG over BMM.They could happily invade Bretonia from all sorts of places, such as Cadiz, or even Islay (although I'd disagree there, heh.). Also, Bretonia has battleships parked near three, possibly four IMG bases. And the war's start seems to be utter crap, in my opinion. If it was about IMG and BMM, IMG would be involved. Also, Kusari wouldn't invade Leeds. It's about conquering territory. I'd also appreciate you being civil, Zelot, I have made every effort to do so myself. Colonial Diplomacy - Derkylos - 04-09-2009 Over half of IMG bases are in Bretonia... ...IMG are actually neutral in the Kusari/Bretonia war, Bretonia has already threatened to destroy IMG bases if the IMG sides with Kusari, according to the news reports. CR using IMG tags and attacking Bretonia is actually in contrary to these reports... Colonial Diplomacy - bluntpencil2001 - 04-09-2009 This would also mean that the IMG would be more along the lines of the GMG ship-wise, I believe, they wouldn't have battleships. Would this be a big deal? The GMG seem to do okay, and I don't think battleships would do terribly well in the asteroid fields that miners love so much. To Blunty: Sorry, I was unaware that calling out peoples true motives was uncivil. I will try not to call you on your motives in the future -.- Colonial Diplomacy - bluntpencil2001 - 04-09-2009 ' Wrote:I would suggest running into the battlefield in tau23 to "rescue" a downed BAF Admiral from capture is taking sides? Wouldnt you? My motives? Fixing something that makes no sense, with a minimum of screwing around what a faction can or can't do. The CR would be able to act exactly as they always have done, but would use a different tag and stuff. I know you don't mean to flame, but to be honest, I'm finding it hard not to take this personally. Colonial Diplomacy - Niezck - 04-09-2009 We did that for everybody, even the Outcasts. That is, of course, until Zapp decided we were a better target than the warships nearby. I'm sure you ain't gonna complain when you're shot down in a fight and your pod is "not found" by the enemy, then "mysteriously" turns up at Kyushu?... From Kudos thread, "We actually got quite a few people to safety before we were all shredded to bits - a few BAF, a couple hogosha (currently at java, we'll send your guys home when we can), and even a SOB and 101st" Not exactly picking sides is it? Colonial Diplomacy - bluntpencil2001 - 04-09-2009 Stay on target, people... :D Colonial Diplomacy - Dusty Lens - 04-09-2009 If you can't post something non-inflammatory, don't post anything at all. I don't want to need to clean up this thread later. -DL |
