We have once more followed the Guard. This time we have made it to Tau-31 and proceeded to assault MacDuff as planned.

I was once again in the ammunition room, this time I didn't have too much work after the assault on MacDuff - I was put on Warwolf coolant duty, and given that we have faced mostly smaller targets the weapon wasn't discharged throughout the battle many times.

So I had the time to watch the battle schematics on my side screen - we were engaged by BAF|HMS-Mary.Rose, BAF|HMS-Coventry and BAF|A-HMS-Castle.

The rumors then have been confirmed - there has been chatter about Crayter taking clear sides with the Bretonians, and this has now been confirmed and has turned the tide of the battle. Even though the BAF had entered Crayter Territory first, the vessels =CR=FV-Tyran|248, =CR=Dreamwalker and Evelyn;Taylor a freelancer hired by them attacked us as well, creating a deep imbalance of power we couldn't withstand.

It would appear we will have to bring a much larger fleet next time if the Crayterians have decided to take sides. I know the Guard won't be too happy about this!

When in Lorraine serving in the ammo room of Claymore we encountered Maquisard cruiser. It seems that foreign agents have taken partial control of the terrorists, Gallic-hating Sirians at that!

When in Lorraine serving in the ammo room of Claymore once more we have clashed with a large fleet of Outcast vessels!

The three Ranseurs and one Sarrisa have disabled multiple vessels of the Union, but in the end, we have prevailed!

Yesterday I made a patrol through all the systems of the Gallic Union and the systems bordering our homeland. No incidents related to pirate, terrorist or royalist activity were reported. The only encounter was with a Barge flying under GMS surveillance. After a brief inspection and a conversation with the captain of the Barge, I proceeded to continue the patrol.

Today I was doing a routine patrol through the Gallic Union star systems. It was quiet in most sectors. In the Ile-de-France system, at the Rambouilet Shipyard, I met the Valor-class battleship Littorio, which was heading to test new weapons. Not wanting to interfere with the tests, which were presumably secret, I only recommended the nearest asteroid field, as they were perfect targets.

During the rest of the patrol, I met the zoner "Zetor-Crystal" near the planet New Paris. My calls to stop went unanswered. The suspect fled to Champagne, I undertook a pursuit which resulted in him quickly returning to the Ile-de-France system. He slowed down in the asteroid field surrounding the jump gate to Champagne then suddenly disappeared completely as a result of a large discharge. The discharge caused damage to the antennae and memory bank, however, I am absolutely certain that prior to this a scan on the visual screens showed 20 pieces of cardamine in the suspect's hold.

It is also suspicious that moments after his disappearance (which altogether shows the illegal possession of a substandard cloaking machine, illegal under Gallic law, on board him) a single Gallic Brigands fighter appeared in the area. Despite the damage to my Lynx's electronics, I took action and had its pilot catapulted out. Suspected of belonging to the Gallic Brigands criminal group, he was placed in custody in New Paris.

Yesterday, during another patrol, I met a pirate transport. I took appropriate action, including imposing a fine of 50,000 credits. The captain of the transport was then escorted out of the Gallic Union and warned to return in a legal ship.

Today I did a long patrol covering all the Gallic Union and border systems. No problems were encountered in any of the systems governed by the laws of our homeland during the patrol. All trade lanes are safe and secure. The same is true of the Zurich border system. As a precautionary measure, I also checked the situation behind the restricted area around the gate to from Languedoc to Tau-23. No one was encountered violating the security of this area or threatening it from the other side.
