Bretonian Dreadnaught. - seamus - 04-17-2009 while your at it, can the corsairs get a light bomber? the current one can be out turned by a waran. Bretonian Dreadnaught. - Robert.Fitzgerald - 04-17-2009 No, light bombers are bad. On topic: the Dreadnaught is an interesting concept. I wonder how it will tie in with the whole KNF/BAF balance... Bretonian Dreadnaught. - deaxy - 04-17-2009 I say that Brits dont need the dred, because their Cruisers are much better, they have more armor, and their power core is much bigger. Bretonian Dreadnaught. - deaxy - 04-17-2009 Sorry for dposting. Bretonian destroyer - armor = 355000 / power capacity = 2250000 Kusari destoryer - armor = 240000 / power capacity = 1400000 Bretonian Dreadnaught. - jammi - 04-17-2009 Ya, now look at each ship's size and maneuverability. The Ku Dessie is size-wise on par with the Bret GB and sure as hell massacres the Bret Cr when it comes to turning. Armour and power isn't everything. Bretonian Dreadnaught. - deaxy - 04-17-2009 Well yes, thats true. But then again, compare the Brit bs and the Kusari one... Bretonian Dreadnaught. - Eppy - 04-17-2009 Al Battleships are huge targets. The Kusari BS has the Bretonian BS considerably outarmored and outgunned. BS combat is much more number-dependent than dessie-GB combat, where size is your best friend as opposed to the size of your powercore. Bretonian Dreadnaught. - deaxy - 04-17-2009 If I understand you right, then I agree with you. When using gb`s or cruisers, you move around, that allows your power core to regenerate. When using a battleships, you just stand still, and pound on your enemy, hoping that he/she will run out of power sooner then you do. Am i right? Bretonian Dreadnaught. - Markam - 04-21-2009 I'm really liking the model so far, even in an early stage, and happy that someone has decided to do a serious Bretonian model, something of a rare event. And large and small BS serve different purposes, the medium dunkirk usually falls short of destroying a heavy BS, Kusari being one of the heaviest, requires a bit of softening up before moving in for the dunkirk, which is not always ideal, as many BS engagements (at least for BAF) have the other BS asking for a duel. Bretonian Dreadnaught. - jenya - 04-21-2009 I personally would like to fly a huge shrimp around. If Kusary have fish why not shrimps for Bretonia? |
