The barge CAN use jumpholes... Dock on them when the front of the ship is over 200m away, not when it's IN it.
If I try what you did in that jumphole video in my Rheinland Battleship, sure, it won't dock either.

actually the first one will fail as well. We've been testing it for quite some time and it wouldn't jump. After looking into the files, however, I managed to jump the Barge (using that jump hole) on the test server. but it's nowhere near easy.

no. its not for PVP, if you want to PVP, get a battleship. however. it would be cool to make a special turret for the barge. like a class 6 turret. then people/factions with a barge could get special RP weapons to equip to the barge. (black hole cannon anyone?)

Whats funny is the aft and forward guns don't even reach the opposite ends of the ship when fired. Love it.

You can fill up the barge and jump to any base you like and for the rest of your life you can try to dock at this base. :haha:

You may dock at a planet with the intention to sell the commodity and the barge for another ship, but this would be too much of an investment though.
Nevertheless, its interesting. I can feel the greed, when player looking at the 25000 holdsize.:rolleyes:

It has a 25k cargo, turrets that don't reach the opposite end without running out of range, and is as big as a planet...
I'm SADDENED:(:(:( by the fact that it might be the only ship of its kind...
To let you get a small picture of what I'm trying to say, then imagine that there WERE OTHER barge-SIZED ships out there...
Imagine that whole Carriers were as big as them... The sheer SIZE would occupy your whole cockpit window, and still only show 1/4 of it...
Imagine that there were hundreds of fighters trying to guard these massive behemoths... all whizzing around in battle formations...
Now... Imagine... a major battle between just TWO of them, with smaller capital ships and many fighters dogfighting each other in a test of skill and survival...
O..... M..... G.....
Also, moving dockable bases? It is unheard of, let alone imply it! If that was possible, I wonder why that wasn't applied with the REST of the capital ships that are currently roaming Sirius by now, notably the BS's?
Say... maybe in a far-off mod, there might be the possibility that these Barge-sized carriers would house the FIRST EXPEDITIONARY FORCE to roam the far-reaches of the universe...
Space... The Final Frontier... (//yeah, sounds like Star Trek, I know) A possibility? .....maybe.....
