The issue is that the ship is still usable, just as battleships are. People just need to calm down and adapt.

If you don't have a barge then you can't have an input on how it is different now, how it's now fundamentally changed.
If you do, great! you will be one of the people who don't want a refund.

Cool. However, its worth making the distinction that not wanting a refund and wanting one, has no actual difference - given there wont be a refund. I am sure you made plenty of money with them for all the time they were added back into the game. And if you didn't, well uhh, sucks to be you I guess chief.

I can tell you one thing: Discovery patches change things fundamentally more often than not. Battleships are completely different now, and not positively different. They are not the same as they were in 2016, not as they were in 2019, not as they were a week ago. They are completely, fundamentally different, and I have more credits invested battleships than you have in your Barge.
You not being able to use Trade Lanes as Barge doesn't make Barges useless - that alone would imply that Barges can only be used in house space.
Yes, stuff is different now. That doesn't go only for Barges. That goes for everything. Just because you spent 15 billions on a single item doesn't mean you are entitled to a refund. Especially not when you DEMAND it. More people are affected by balance changes and they adapt to it, too. They always have. It sucks for a few days, but you will adapt, too. Babyrage won't help you. Has never helped in Discovery. Just adapt.

Its that kind of attitude that actively kills community interest...
If the changes made are permanent, there will need to be a refund. No if's, buts or coconuts.
