My dear friend Mariel Stryker and I elected to stalk and eventually ambush a Cartel criminal convoy from Liberty heartspace to what eventually became Tau-23. Mariel, unfortunately heavily ionized, supplied the cruise disruptors, I supplied the firepower, and the net result is three Cartel and two conventional Outcast corpses. Four out of five targets piloted fighters, the fifth a bomber, and no payout multipliers discernibly apply. All the deceased became so in Tau-23 excepting Cartel pilot Scorch, who perished in Tau-29.

The bomber pilot, as can be seen, identified himself as a Freelancer, but bore an Outcast transponder reading, commanded a Falcata armed in Outcast fashion, and clearly affiliated himself with his four fellow carcasses; I therefore do not hesitate to consider him to have been an Outcast.
