I came in from work, as did a few others from my faction, and we walked into Omicron Delta at one of the “windows”. Stayed for about an hour and a half and then met a PvP.
Even if you omit the fact that we just set up a blockade around the JH in Omicron Kappa - well lol, we just got together at our “prime time” (most convenient for the four of us) and spent some quality time. You have four time periods, 2 hours each, and literally every one of them fits perfectly into any time zone (even mine, +7), and there's a break between periods so people don't get too overwhelmed by the whole event.

Event is setup for peak times in various parts of the world. If it was setup for 24 hour bonuses, people would just wait until low pop hours and print free money, and BIG money at that. 1250 value per Xeno Relic for Core side is insane.
To have that for 24 hours a day, we may as well bring back the Zoner Pilot Trade and PvE event back.

"Oh but I want my 24 hours a day event for my powertrading braincell! Please let me have it!!!!" - No Thank You. Pointless to give full access all the time. Sure, it cuts out some people, but that isn't the intention. the intention is to stop those who would ordinarily do all their shipping in quiet hours and have no interference during it. Go do it during the windows, and be happy you get to make more money than sense hauling ass across like 6 to 10 systems.
This event's CSU during these times is quite literally the highest I've ever seen it. Setup like 5 ships, ready for the runs and then move them back through the non-event hours (or JD back with a beacon in some cases). It don't take a genius to work out why the event is locked behind specific times. Two hours trading, three hours mining seems like a nice bonus for the people, so that everyone gets a chance to do everything if they want to.
Besides, where the hell are you gonna find the time to supply your PoB with relics if your shipping 24/7 for the duration?

No way. A trading event that prompts playes to interact with other players on a roleplay server and not brainlessly print money just citing to every pirate they're in a rush or on schedule.
This is just preposterous.
Would be cool if people could just play the game and man the encounters they get, not trying to dodge each and every one, then coming to complain when they get the other end of the stick.

Also, the fact that the ID says you can't fly above 4.3K doesn't mean shit when all you do is lose power core. Not to mention you can Hegemon trip, which is a valid ID ship as well. I haven't seen a sanction for someone flying a cargo ship larger that his ID allows.

From Core, Hogosha and Outcasts (Who wouldve fly on OC?) only Hogosha has access to the ships cargo above 4300 - a Corsair train.
Ive yet havent seen any problem with piracy or encounters, but the event itself Will refresh my depeled bank account, so Why should I bother? Ive been and played on a numerous event including 24/7 powertrading and many People agree that this type of event schematicly Will not lead to the drama.

Do you hear yourself? Okay sure, I forgot about the hegemon because you say you can make three trips successfully in the hour. Can you? I can trade almost as fast (in cargo value) in a hege as a 3.6ker can. To spell this out in words and stuff. A 3.6ker moves 10.8k cargo in three trips. i am Not Quite as fast as that, but I can get comfortable enough to get one hege run from A to B. And I would only make one trip an hour, if I was ballzy enough to try. But I wont, because I do not powertrade.
