The problem that no other Police Force has their own ships is a bit of a problem...
Along the ye olde "Do the LPI need a Bomber?"
A round ball-shaped bomber like that probably wouldn't deal to well; and the LPI would just fly the Upholder/Havoc... It was a good effort and a good try though, keep your think tank running.

Plenty of factions that didn't need ships got them, so I don't think that's a valid argument. However if Zapp comes down here and tells me he doesn't want it, then I'll delete it, no questions asked.
I'm still tinkering with it, but I haven't made enough progress to post an update. I'm being stalled by some technical issues with my PC and a rather stressful workload this week.

Well the Upholder is weaker than the Roc, the Havok is ugly, and don't the RFP have their own ship line?

RFP have their own SHF.
I personally would like to see a line of LPI ships that's simply re-skinned, upgraded Eagles (police intercept versions)... maybe with similar stats to the Hammerhead; fast, but with class 9 shields and 2x class 8 and 4x class 9 guns. But I digress

I agree it would make some sense at least for the LPI to repaint the ships already available to them for use. A lot cheaper, and Cop Cars are usually modified civilian cars.
If that's what you would prefer then it would require a different thread to request it.

Frankly I suggest the following approach to the LPI bomber.
a ship about the size of defender, about the same flight characterstics as the gladiator.
4 class 10 guns
1 dedicated CD slot
1 torp slot
mine/CM
VHF power plant.
class 9 shield
It is basically used to stop incoming smugglars (cd) and damage them (aka Razor)
Take on ships like greyhound. I dont believe LPI should get a full fledged bomber.
That is Navy's job....lets distinguish the two a little.
As for the model....um.. yeah its a preggo. May be try putting two partiot fusalages side by side and the two slots (CD/Torp) in the middle one on top of another.
