For the love of god! - Lenny Bruce - 06-28-2009 They like to fly in pretty formations. Pretty. Plus, their nonsensical meanderings keep the cops occupied, giving "some people" more time for non-tradtioninal activites. Me like them. For the love of god! - Magoo! - 06-28-2009 Ummm... I believe I've seen one of them named Morpheus. Just a heads up: Not me. In fact, those are probably the same thugs that stole the character name in the first place. (I guess when you make characters on a different server on the same account, it erases chars from the other server 0.o) For the love of god! - lw'nafh - 06-29-2009 Heh, they're at it again, caught them heading from Tau 37 to Alpha, but due to the lack of help I got serially owned by a gank, and a Freelancer helping them, this is getting ridiculous! It's the Independant MINERS Guild, not a death squad faction! For the love of god! - -Zulz- - 06-29-2009 Three of them escorted my IMG-tagged trader some time ago, without askig for money. They were well organized (blew up a OC gunboat that tried to pirate me), in rp all the time, and said they were IMG fighters on a mission to reduce the pirate threat, since piracy was running rampant. Dont see anything wrong with it. Although some pirates seem to think they are untouchable... for some reason For the love of god! - lw'nafh - 06-29-2009 No, it's the fact that they run around in a death squad, you should be on our side and see what it's like, doesn't look very good. For the love of god! - reavengitair - 06-29-2009 They took out 3 wilde whilst I waited and got owned by the NPCs lol... For the love of god! - ryeguy146 - 06-29-2009 They were standing at the outskirts of a mediocre fight I was in located in Bering tonight. Just BEGGING to attack. PvP whore much? Yea, I'm not impressed. If I saw them escorting IMG traders all the time, that'd be COMPLETELY different. But what were they doing messin' around in Rheinland by themselves? To make a first point, Ill mention that it actually rarelly happens that you have more lawfuls (police+navy+lsf) in a house system than pirates. And thats the house systems, not the 'free' systems where you have IMG and GMG maybe. Well, little before that, I took my trader which was stripped because of a sanction (no guns, 0 money, no bots+bats, no cargo, only thing in my hold was snaction notice) through california. Some CR were going to let me haul stuff they mined so I could get started again in omega 49. In cali, I get stopped by (I think there were even more than 4 LR in cali at the time) 4 LR gunboats. They see I have no cargo, no money, no nothing, they start shooting down my shields and hull down to 1/4, saying Im a hostage to them now because the navy is coming. There is a hostage-standoff with the navy for 10 minutes, at the end I get shot down. So every time I see a pirate whining and rule-lawyering when they actually DO get shot at by someone, it totally cracks me up. For the love of god! - Wuselkobold - 06-29-2009 Reducing pirate threat...? Right...since when are the Bretonian armed Forces Pirates? This morning four or five of them and a freelancer blew up an armed forces cruiser and my gunboat in Leeds for whatever reason. I don't know why the attacked, i joined the fight as ist was already lost but the fact alone that IMG fighters are attacking the bretonian authoritys is alerting and definetely not good for the relations between both partys. |
